In my best Anton coaster geek move, I still have to ask - did you enjoy Shockwave?

First off, love the Carl pic. Second, You're Fired? What's with the title of the thread?

Even though I went to SFOT in 2009 before New Giant, I thought it was the best SF park I've been it. The place was beautiful dude, don't kid yourself into thinking you're going to find another CF or SF park that's taken care of better than SFOT, in my opinion. The quality of rides, coasters, food, and feel to each area makes it on of my favorite parks I've been to. Times change, the rides change, the park changes some; but you can't ask for a time machine.

He was probablY an old Texas Giant fan, and is strugging with the steel vs. wood debate. "Back in my day, all the roller coasters were....made of wood, and we had to walk 48 miles to get cotton candy and admission was one wooden nickel"

Obvious some in this post don't like to have there parade rained on. It seems some like to relish in their mediocrity of park experiences. I think anything you dish out to the public for a fee should be with passion and not with gimmicks! If your experiences elsewhere other than the SFOT at Arlington, well I can't speak of those parks and maybe they are the exception. . . Hurray! To the post on the Shockwave. It still is an awsome ride. I am NOT knocking roller coasters, just that there was little else to entertain you. To the last post: I thought I spelled out my disappointment clearly. What specifics do you not see in the boring category because of the cheesy gimmicks and the dilapidated scenery do you not get? No ORIGINALITY MEANS NOT ORIGINAL! NO TASTE IN EFFECTS AND APPEARANCES! . . . The Pink Lady ice cream was NOT the ORIGINAL! I can come to Austin and pick you up in the Blue Bus and lead you by the hand to the park and show you around if you are that needy for specifics! Offers on the table! Look you either know from experience and agree with my post or you don't. . . I make no apologies for it!

The Pink Lady ice cream was NOT the ORIGINAL!

That's pretty serious, I would have thrown a loud fit right then and there in front of everybody if I were you. It would probably terrify all the little kids there with their families, but some things just have to be done.

They probably don't have the original Pink Lady there anymore, either.

I'm always amused by posters who express a strong a opinion, then call out other posters for not agreeing with it. I'm sorry that you had a less-than-optimum experience at Six Flags Over Texas; however, not everyone shares your view of the park (including me).

since this is now the grammar and spelling thread, let me put on my English editor's hat (too bad it doesn't have mouse ears):

1) paragraphs are your friend!

2) Obvious some in this post don't like to have there parade rained on

"their" not "there"

3) spelling things in ALL CAPS and adding lots of exclamation points!!!!!!! doesn't make your argument stronger.

(neither does referring to SFoT signature "Pink Things" as "Pink Lady", but that's neither here nor there).

a strong argument, with examples and/or details (ie: specifics) is what makes your argument stronger.

and I have no idea what you mean by "Blue Bus" in Austin. Do you work for SuperShuttle?

Not to bust balls, but when did not capitalizing the first word of a sentence become en vogue?
