Holiday World - Always putting the customer first, and focus their improvements on that

Kennywood - While they are not building anything this year, they are sprucing up a lot of their attractions including new trains for the Racer. They have always taken care of their old rides.

Waldameer - In the last couple years, they have really improved the park. And the addition of Ravine Flyer II will be the icing on the cake.

Actually, my home park, SFKK. Last year, I started noticing little things. The park was much cleaner, the landscaping was much nicer and maintained, and they started fixing other small issues. For example, they reopened the path between Thunder Run and the water park. I hadn't seen that path open since before the park was flagged. It seems they are making a conscious effort to turn things around. I think they recognize that its going to take a little bit more than adding a large attraction to their to park to fix it's problems.

I think Kings Island, and Cedar Fair parks as a whole are trying to improve greatly. Many of their parks are adding Family friendly additions. Banshee is certainly going to bring life to Action Zone, and Flight Deck getting re-vamped will certainly help it.

Honestly I think most parks are improving every year. Very few parks actually get worse over time.

Universal Orlando is obviously out-building everyone with tons of amazing new attractions so they're probably improving faster than anyone else. If the spirit of the thread is to talk about parks that were mediocre before and are significantly better now the parks that come to mind are Disney's California Adventure and on a smaller scale, Fun Spot in Orlando.

Chimelong Paradise is clearly growing better and better every time I visit there. It used to be dirty, crowded and every coaster run one train except for the Golden Horse spinner. But now, 10 Inversion Coaster, Dive Machine and Youngstar Coaster run two trains and the train at the back would never wait to enter the station; Motor coaster dispatches ridiculously fast; the park gets very clean; Chimelong is the first and probably the only company to realize the importance of souvenirs, food, drinks and fast lane; adding new attraction every year, sometimes they hold a big concert till mid night.

With the opening of Ocean Kingdom and seeing how successful the park already gets, I really think China's future in amusement industry depends on Chimelong. Disneyland is meeting a competitor.

I completely agree with this. We're all fortunate right now that there is a major boom in the amusement industry so there are major improvements going on at parks across the country (and probably around the world but I don't follow that much). Unfortunately most parks don't have a big backer like Comcast that can pump billions into their parks like Universal is getting so they are obviously near the top for improvements. Most of the other parks are making smaller, steady improvements.

Knott's. The new Boardwalk, new paint on Bullet, Sidewinder, and Boomerang, Camp Snoopy improvements, Log Ride/Mine Ride renovations, new pavement, and most of all restoring their history. The park looks A LOT better now than it did 5 year ago.

^I couldn't agree more. I've always loved the park for what it was. ST was a great addition when it opened in 1998, but I have really noticed the little things at the park. Friendly staff and fun all around. The waterpark has gotten better and the amusement park is growing at a good rate. And BEER is available now (last park in the chain to serve it...but BEER!). I love the changes that are going on chain wide really.
