Even though I don't know you, I'll definitely appreciate it lol  Ride On!!  I don't really think Xcelerator will be running at all today. I'm very near Magic Mountain and it's very windy (wind chill of 38), and constant rain this morning so far. It's rained nearly 1" since this midnight, and for here that MAJOR! I'm really surprised the mountain hasn't posted that they are closed on facebook yet. The forecast is to get worse as the day goes on. I can't believe it's much better in Buena Park... That stinks, especially if rides close early or don't open at all.  Thanks for the response tho

Hhappy
More Xcelerator backstage images It was super cool getting to walk under Xcelerators launch track! Lots of electrical stuff happens in here. Behind this door is where all the magic happens! The hydraulic room of an Intamin launch coaster is one of the coolest mechanical things to see in the coaster world! Don't touch any buttons! Guy T. Koepp
Were you allowed to be in there during a launch? I'm told it's cool to watch all the hydraulic hoses seize up when the oil is pressurized through them. Why that statement turns me on I don't know. chadster
The backstage tours were crazy awesome today, getting to walk the flume is something I won't forget anytime soon. The rain is coming and going, right now it is coming. I see a break in the rain so hopefully ERT will happen. At the moment, the flats are up and ghostrider was sending a few trains. Keeping my fingers crossed!! The Q&A told of a new Haunt coming out, club blood I believe is history, Doll Factory WILL be returning. Other than that, don't look for a Rocky Mountain treatment anytime soon, if at all. The park says they conduct accelerometer testing three times per year and this year has tested smoother than in years past. I can say there is a difference between October 2010 and today, slight difference. The park maintains it's wood and they want it to have that wood feel. Oh and the almost complete stop on the MCBR, it's not going away, no reason given as to why it's really there. So yeah, there you have it. I just checked into the Knott's hotel, not a bad room for 69.99 pass holder price, the free interwebs is 384k, 2.99 for 1mb interwebs... Â so there you have it as of now... Â edit: oh, and I won a wheel off of Sierra Sidewinder during TPR Quest, awesome game indeed. Have lots of photos of Quest including girls taking off something..... Fire2box
I hope the weather gets better for all the TPR members down south so the coasters don't have to shut down for a extend period. However Northern California is getting all of the rain, wind and snow it can handle. Even I-80 is shut down due to zero advisability. Â Â Still it seems better down there. ( Edit: perhaps I was wrong.) Edited March 21, 2011 by Fire2box
