jedimaster1227 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You heard the man! Post your questions here!
jarmor Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "When it comes to the sky ride in the video it goes under now it seems like it will go over...will it go over or under? And was it always gonna be that way?"
BeemerBoy Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 In regards to the animal habitats, to what extent do decibel levels play a part when designing a major ride such as Cheetah Hunt?
dragonskeep Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 It's great to see an Intamin coaster coming to the area, what were the main factors for choosing them? Was anyone else considered for thr project? Compared to other BGT coasters with higher top speeds, will Cheetah hunt still feel fast IYO?
jjune4991 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 What will be the coaster and exhibit interaction, if any? As in, will the guests have a view into Cheetah Run as they exit the station?
Electerik Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "How did you settle on the name Cheetah Hunt?"
tiger01 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Do you think that taking the water section out of the Safari ride was a brave decision?
jedimaster1227 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ps. We will not ask any questions regarding the name of the coaster. Please do not post them!
Electerik Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ^ I don't think that was there originally. /Fine. //I have no other questions.
rider-x Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 When deciding on a new coaster for the park, who comes up with the initial concept i.e is there a group focus or is one individual responsible for the Idea. Also, how do the attractions that other parks in the immediate market that have recently opened affect your decisions? p.s. thank you for choosing Intamin. Its about time we had one in Florida
B&MIntaminGCI Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Who proposed the idea of using supports as additional elements to the theme of the ride?
Tezee Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Did the coaster need a pull through before opening?
BeemerBoy Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Did the coaster need a pull through before opening? If he knows this, could you please follow up with, "What are the winning Florida Lotto numbers for the rest of February?"
jarmor Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Did the coaster need a pull through before opening? If he knows this, could you please follow up with, "What are the winning Florida Lotto numbers for the rest of February?" I wanted to say something sooo bad lol...thanks! lol
Tezee Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) Why? Some ohter Intamin did have need a pull through before opengin. ADMIN EDIT: I have edited the above post to remove the ALL CAPS. Please be sure to refrain from posting in such a manner, as it comes across as screaming. Edited February 14, 2011 by jedimaster1227
jarmor Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 From my knowledge all intamins I have seen built have had a pull thru...
jjune4991 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ^ I don't think that was there originally. /Fine. //I have no other questions. Actually, it was there when I posted my answer 8 minutes before you.
doublestufforeo Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "How did the designers settle on the Cheetah theme?" also "Have there been any plans to retheme Cheetah Chase, as to limit confusion between rides?"
Electerik Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ^ I don't think that was there originally. Actually, it was there when I posted my answer 8 minutes before you. Fiddlesticks. /Guess I need to read more carefully.
jjune4991 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "Have there been any plans to retheme Cheetah Chase, as to limit confusion between rides?" I saw this today: http://www.bgtnation.net/2011/02/cheetah-chase-becomes-sand-serpent.html
King of Ka Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 In your opinion, does the relatively "dull" landscape of BGT and the rest of Florida help or hinder the design process for rides, particularly ones which interact so heavily with the ground as Cheetah Hunt does?
CCG2 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "Why was the height restriction for Cheetah Hunt planned as 48" as with all other Intamin coasters with OTSR's the height restriction is 54"? Were the OTSR restraints for Cheetah Hunt modified to fit shorter guests?"
coasterkid21 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Will the line for the ride be extensively themed?
hydra Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Is there anyway other people could tag along? Live in Tampa and have been to the park multiple times a week. Would love to get some inside knowledge...
