DonGeorge Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 ...The TVs in your queue switch back and forth from Bugs Bunny Cartoons to commercials for Snickers & Cartoon Network promos.
SingleRiderCam Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 ...the best coaster in the park is overshadowed with a bad motto. ...you have to wait in line to get in line for a ride. ...misters are in a shaded line instead of a line out in the blazing sun. ...some of the signs of the old name of a ride are still around the ride and queue line.
DonGeorge Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 You exploded with growth at the dawn of the 21st century nearly causing the downfall of your company.
DarienLaker Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Some guy name Mark Sharprio decided to add extra licensed brands like Tony Hawk, Thomas the Tank Engine, Evil Knievel, The Wiggles, and Terminator Salvation then don't bother to renew the licensing agreements and rename the "Tony Hawk's Big Spin" coasters as Pandemonium, Wiggles Worlds as "Kidzopolis", and Thomas Towns as "Whistlestop Parks". On a related note: I think that Six Flags should have renewed Tony Hawk's licensing agreement!
Sfne1313 Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You take fire effects from the #1 coaster to put them on a wooden coaster, in Texas, where it's always drought season.
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 If an Arrow multi looper has Schwarzkopf hair gel as its sponsor.
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 ^I doubt that Schwarzkopf hair products are related to Anton Schwarzkopf, but it would be ironic if Six Flags over Texas had Shockwave being Schwarzkopf looping coaster to have an ad for Schwarzkopf hair gel on its train!
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 ^ Oh yes, well of course they're not related to Anton, but I hear that one of the Vekoma Ninjas has Got 2b ads.
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You see a staircase covered with M&M's ad wrapping and ads for Twix on a former Tony Hawk's Big Spin coaster!
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You buy Dueling Dragons from IOA, get the trains to duel again, and retheme it to left Twix & right Twix!
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You buy Dueling Dragons from IOA, get the trains to duel again, and retheme it to left Twix & right Twix! Ha Ha very funny, but I doubt that Islands of Adventure has any plans to sell Dueling Dragons to a Six Flags park anytime soon!
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Ha Ha very funny, but I doubt that Islands of Adventure has any plans to sell Dueling Dragons to a Six Flags park anytime soon! Especially if there's a bald eagle nest on the lift hill!!
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You tear down a beloved classic wooden coaster for a dueling RMC wood/steel hybrid coaster in its place.
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) You tear down a beloved classic wooden coaster put leave the first drop's pullout in place. Edited December 19, 2014 by DonGeorge
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You tear out a Scooby-Doo "Ghost Blasters" ride for a similar shooting dark ride themed around the Justice League.
Paradox Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You put 7 flags on top of a drop tower because your staff is too stupid to actually count.
DarienLaker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You have a water park named "Hurricane Harbor".
thrillseeker4552 Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 You tear down a beloved classic wooden coaster for a dueling RMC wood/steel hybrid coaster in its place. I'm going to rephrase this. You know you're a Six Flags park if you tear down an old, rickety, unpopular wooden coaster with a totally kick-a** RMC hybrid coaster that will be much more popular and a much better ride. Being a Six Flags park doesn't necessarily ALWAYS have to be a bad thing
DonGeorge Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Being a Six Flags park doesn't necessarily ALWAYS have to be a bad thing As much as I enjoy rotor rides, you can't deny El Toro is amazing.
DarienLaker Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 You put in a major ride during the first year of owning one of your park, then "ruin" it afterwords before selling it a few years later!
VF15 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 ...you can't even get your park's coasters correct on a park mug. (Credit for these photos goes to berryfarm in the SFMM thread.)
Mater Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 You know you're at a Six Flags park if you see DC and Warner Brothers licensed properties attached to Rides and Stores.
Intamin_coyote Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 You tear down a beloved classic wooden coaster for a dueling RMC wood/steel hybrid coaster in its place. I'm going to rephrase this. DarienLaker Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 ...you can't even get your park's coasters correct on a park mug. (Credit for these photos goes to berryfarm in the SFMM thread.) That's got to be heinous, if a Six flags or any park that has a mug or any other coaster souvenir(s) with coasters that aren't even in that park and one thing for sure is that Tatsu is not a Vekoma SLC and X2 is no longer pink and yellow!
