So basically I am stuck in a deep hole here. I need to know if there is any possible way for me to get me SFGAm season pass processed before I take my trip to SF St.Louis on April 3rd. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Nathan.

Are you buying a new pass, or have you bought a voucher online? If you are buying a new pass, just buy it at sfstl. They dont care which park you get your season pass from.

I should have been more specific. Haha!

I bought a new pass online for SFGAm, and I need to know If I can get that processed at Sf St.Louis. [sorry I was so vague in the first post]

MOD EDIT by larrygator: No need to apologize your first post was clear.

^does the use of the word "SHOULD" in your post mean:

A - It would be good business practice for Six Flags to allow him to process his voucher at any park, because Cedar Fair would do it.

OR

B - Of course Six Flags will process his voucher, because Cedar Fair would do it.

I can't find it on the Six Flags site, but I am quite sure you have to process it first at the park you bought it at. If I can remember correctly it should state it on your voucher.

Yes, that is what is on my voucher. I remember last year someone had a similar problem and said he contacted his local park before going to SFMM and the local park made special arrangements. But it is not always easy to get in touch with someone at a seasonal park during the off season.

^ they SHOULD allow it, because at Cedar Fair parks they allow you to process passes for the new season at other parks. Sure, it may have that park's logo on it, but it should be the same with Six Flags.

Cedar Fair parks won't let you process at a different park. They make it quite clear that you must have your pass processed at the park it was bought at before using it a different park.

Though I believe they will give you a refund, and let you buy a new pass at the other park if you can't process first. But if you have a season pass voucher for Cedar Point, it must be processed before it can be used anywhere else.

Cedar Fair parks will let you process your pass at any park. Towards the bottom of this page it says they only "encourage" you to process it at the park it was purchased at.

And if you want your pass to be from your home park, but will be visiting a different Cedar Fair park before its processed, they will let you use your voucher as a ticket once. I did this with my Cedar Point voucher at Kings Island last year. My voucher scanned at the gate no problem.

^ I'm not seeing on that page where it says that they only encourage to process at the park it was purchased at?

If they allow this it's definetly new, as all of the passes I've bought before specifically said that they had to be processed before being used at another park. In fact the last time I went to SoCal I asked if my un-processed voucher would be good at Knotts. Their answer was no, but that they could refund my money so that I could purchase a Knotts pass. (which at least at the time was more expensive).

So I just skipped Knotts that year.

Personally I would be hesitant to try using a voucher at a different park. Considering how many people have had issues with physical cards, I wouldn't try my luck with a voucher.

Be aware that the new SF rewards program is only vaild for the park you process your pass at, so don't process it at any other SF park other than your home park, or your rewards will be useless.

Try calling SFGAM or SFSTL. Maybe one of the parks will be able to work with you.

But in the words of the Great Wise Matt:

Should have renewed and had it sent to you via the mail. Tsk, tsk.

Although sometimes you renew via e-mail and the park tells you they can't send you a pass because you have to come in to take a new picture. That happened to me this year.

That happened to me this year too. I had been using the same picture on my SFMM pass since 2006 and got a message which said I could not renew online because my picture was expired.

They must have decided you aged too much in one year.

Ok, I called in today and what they told me is that I can send in an E-mail with my order number, address, and a head shot of myself. Then they would just send it to me in the mail [a SFGAm pass] and I would have it for my trip to St.Louis!

This is great, and I may photo-shop a Whizzer logo into the photo I send them somewhere [and include one without the logo].

Well...I can dream at least.
