DerekRx
I had some Du Claw a couple of years ago, as a friend brought a growler up for the Post East Coaster party. I believe I tried the Chocolate Raspberry and it was pretty darn good! Today it was in the lower 60s here and sunny, and I felt like a spring or summer ale. Sadly I had neither left. Luckily I always have the nectar of the Hop gods somewhere in the house. Yeah baby, Hop Devil, a beer good at any time or any place

Nrthwnd
I just went, and picked up (literally) the first 'specialty brew' I laid eyes on, when I entered our local liquor store. Few blocks away. In time for the Big Arrival of Wally's new family member... Hmmm. Purple coloring on the box (probably label too). Like that. Hemp Cream Ale Why am I not surprised, at this find of mine??? Heh heh heh. Ah well, bought it, it's chillin' and will crack one when you announce Buddy's emminent arrival. Local brewery, Bowen Island - Nuff said'bout the 'source' grain, hmmm? Rugged One
I had some Du Claw a couple of years ago, as a friend brought a growler up for the Post East Coaster party. I believe I tried the Chocolate Raspberry and it was pretty darn good! Yeah, I really dig DuClaw. Not only is there beer good but they probably do the best job I've ever seen of a brewery marketing it's own beers. They just really come up with some original stuff. Their release parties are a lot of fun. I just need to get out of the current job so that I can partake in more of them. Like Derek said, it was pretty darn mild around here for January, so I felt like a little something lighter tonight. Weyerbacher ESB does just the trick on an abnormallly warm January day. Not to worry, I'm sure I'll be breaking out the stouts and winter warmers again in no time.

Rugged One
started to do some packing today... finally. And I came across something AWESOME!!! Did you find that behind the fridge or something Wally. The Magic Hat Saint Gootz. I believe that this was formally the enigmatic Batch 371 that was available in a variety pack last fall and then could be voted on to keep or drop it. I guess enough people liked it, as it is now back and been released as a seasonal. I liked it under both names. Saint Gootz. No, it's not the official beer of Steve Guttenberg. It's the latest offering from the Magic Hat Brewing Company.
PhishyBrewer
Did you find that behind the fridge or something Wally. Actually... it was on top of the fridge collecting dust. It was behind my whey protein mix powder. Because you know I work out so much

DerekRx
Saturday was another Weyerbacher tour day, as Heresy was finally out again for the season! Afterwards, some other random brews around ABE. So 12 hours after starting, we finally cut ourselves off for the night, with one last goodbye to Autumn. We knew we were getting drunk when we imagined Leann cleaning No one attempted to break open this selection Tom got for Christmas Followed by my mug of Saison De Acier My free goblet of Stumbling Monk After a brief drive to Albuquerque, we ended up at BBW After the pizza was gone, I used the board to ward off Crazy Jake's attempts to steal my Storm King And followed that up with a Victory Storm King Imperial Stoudt and a Pizza made with Weyerbacher's spent malt grain. At Which Brew, I was denied my first 3 beer choices, but ended up getting an Appalachian Mountain Lager. Crazy Jake doesn't know what to sample first So much Heresy, so little time Tom didn't even look this happy in his wedding pictures

Rugged One
That Liberty Ale is on my short list. Just as soon as I clear some other stuff out of the fridge. Went with a Franziskaner Hefe tonight. I had this at a beer bar the other night and really dug it, so I picked some up for the house. The Franziskaner Hefe. Yummy!
