that styleswitcher is something that might come in the future (aka a mobile style)

regarding the confirmation page.

Is there any way that in the email message you get if you are following a topic the email can include the message (albeit without photos if a PTR) that has been posted which triggers the email?

I am on a few forums that use this feature and it is very handy when at work so I can keep an eye on what's being posted without having to load up the entire website (which is frowned upon at work)

Just a thought, not sure if this would be easy to implement.

Just spotted something, not sure if it is an error or not, but not too keen on the way it works, the White vertical line between the user details and the message varies in length depending on the amount of text in the message box, here are a few examples.

^ Yeah. I'm not fond of that either. I think I'd like to have an option where the line extends the entire length of the page like it is on the current forum, but the style only has an option for the line to extend the length of the post text or the length of the user's profile box.

Unless Hanno can find a fairly easy solution it might just be something we have to get used to, or at least go live with for now and then figure out a solution later.

From looking at the HTML of the page, it looks like the

tag for the body of the post (class: postBody) just needs to have "height: 100%;", along with "vertical-align: top;" added to it, for the white border to be stretched the entire height of the box...

Favourite part so far is last Tuesday's pooping competition to win a Toyota Echo. (Check the calendar!)

Only real nitpick is the "block colors" thing referenced earlier, in regards to the current shading of the blue forum bars; though if it's not an easy fix, no big deal.

LOL! I'm so glad (I think) that someone actually found that!

I like the "ONLINE" banner across the corner of a person's avatar to indicate that they are currently online. Also, I thought our user names would be bigger, but that's not an issue. Otherwise, the new board looks nice!

Hmm...we will look into this, but I'm pretty sure everything in the template is being taken from the css file.

What makes you think what you posted was correct? Do you have experience with this forum software previously?

Just asking before we go chasing down something that might end up wasting our time.

-The "You message has been posted" confirmation is kinda an extra step that isn't needed. And it also has an error.

Viewed on a Win7 Netbook.

this error should be gone at this moment.

Please let me know if it works.

Are you planning on restoring 'line 2' of the forum titles?

I liked having the information like 'BGE pictures posted to page 87!' It seems the new format does not have this information:

VS the old format, with a little more info, which I like

New format, with no yellow subtext

I was talking about adding those two snippets to the CSS class named "postBody"

I'm a professional webdesigner (check the link in my signature), so I'm constantly playing with CSS and HTML formatting... forum templating is simply using CSS and HTML templates.

Yes we are, for new topics these are shown. Just during the migration these were not copied..

something I noticed (and I don't know if this was addressed before) but the page numbers are not showing up at the top and bottom of the thread. It says "Page # of # (yellow dot) ..." There is space in between the ... and when you scroll over it, it shows the numbers, but they are not visible until you scroll over them.

I agree with Mr. Starr that the black boxes on the calender don't look right at all (i think he posted a shot on page 5)

also with regards to the calender, the lines of info are VERY close together :

Funny thing is I usually don't look at the calendar, let alone for earlier dates!

A few things I would suggest...

- Increase text size of user names on the post... Right now, the user names are set at what looks like 10pt font, along with the rest of the information. I think that it would look better, and more easily decipherable if it were made larger.

Username size has been increased. Please let me know it his looks better.

a printscreen might have been handy for this..

But it should be fixed at the moment..

Not really a nit pick, but there is now a space between the user name and user title for me.

Just curious if this was intentional or not as it looks different then Hanno's Screen shot.

I don't know if it's me but I'll just point it out. I checked out my pm box and this one drop down box seems a little to far to the right. This is on Firefox 3.5.7 on XP if that helps.
