ParkTrips
I know I've said this dozens of times, but I really hope I get to ride Olympia before it ends up in Russia or some other eastern bloc nation. Thanks for reminding me of that goal
Electerik
Where are these "amazing women" I was promised?? Oh well, thanks for the TR anyway!

coastered
Alpina Bahn AND Olympia Looper...Yee-e-ah! By the way, was the Flying Circus there? No Flying Circus is in Vidam Park, which is a small park located in Boedapest, Hungaria.
Groteslurf
Great pictures. I visited my first German funfair end last year in Hamburg while I was there for work. I was a flash visit but I was able to ride Olympia Looping so that was worth the visit.
Rider117
Oh, I got some beer pictures but my memory got a little distorted at that point! Plus, I only took pictures during the evening and it was mostly of the rides really. I got a few from the Hard Rock Cafe in Munich and the beer there from the local brewery was awesome! DBru
Wow...that looks awesome! Great photos. How much does it cost to get in/ride all of the rides at the fair?
Rider117
It varies per ride, it was anywhere from 4-7 Euros.

slither37
We were led to believe there would be beer and women?????? LOL, Great pictures! Love those European flats.
CorkscrewFoley
I take it they have wrist bands for Oktoberfest? It's too bad Flying Circus isn't travelling, I have heard how nauseating it is (and seen the footage on YouTube too).
GeorgeT
Flying Circus is just ill...I didn`t like the ride itself, but it LOOKS awesome, it really does... Our best travelling flat, XXL, is missing, just like LASER elissa, ähäm sorry, I meant alias Teststrecke...they`re both at Cannstatter Wasen (nearly at the same time) which is also a GREAT german funfair...(can someone deliver some pics, pleeease !) ParkTrips
I take it they have wrist bands for Oktoberfest? The rides are owned by different operators, some of which only have one or two rides
willh51
Wow, that looks awesome. I was in Munich this summer and would love to go back for Oktoberfest. A liter of Paulaner Wit then Olympia Looping sounds fun.

GeorgeT George, I can't remember, is the XXL a Booster or a Street Fighter? As for Flying Circus, the ride alone looks evil. I had a friend of mine on another forum retell her horror stories on it, then again, she was drinking on an empty stomach too...
coastered
George, I can't remember, is the XXL a Booster or a Street Fighter? No, the XXL is a larger version of the KMG Afterburner.
GeorgeT
I know, EVERYTHING is a question of the personal taste, but this thing is just awesome. You have so strong positive G`s when you fly through the station and "endless"airtime on top...by far the best flat I`ve ever been on...and even some of my friends who normally don`t care that much for flats LOVED the ride... DBru
Wow...that ride looks insane! Does that gondola swing higher than the HUSS Giant frisbees?
GeorgeT
Yes, it swings up to about 135 degrees, the huss frisbee`s stop at about 90 degrees...and this one is MUCH bigger/higher...maybe you could call this an "outside-in-maxair". Anyone able to compare ??? GeorgeT
Rider117
What fair is that at? I've never seen them at any of the Fairs in Germany before?

CorkscrewFoley
Yeah, this was more like a Street Fighter (or KMG Afterburner). Thanks for the link George.
