CARS! The Car Super Thread

Recommended Posts

^^^ Just be prepared for very sub-par features, other than performance. All of the Camaro's luster resides in its power and performance in being an American muscle car, but things like the interior are lacking a bit, being very generic with nothing special, and it's definitely a bit difficult to see out of the back.

On the topic of cars, it's about time for me to get a new car. I have been really leaning towards the new Camaros. They are stylish, and the V6 gets 30hwy mpg, which is about 3 times what I am getting now. I was debating between a 2SS, and a V6 2LT RS. I decided that if I do go with the Camaro that I will get the 2LT RS. The V6 gets better gas mileage than the V8, not to mention my insurance is much less in the V6.

Does anyone on here have a new Camaro? If so do you recommend it, or would you suggest something else?

I don't have one, but a good buddy of mine has a SS. Nice enough car. The V6 is probably too little for such a heavy car, but then again, you're talking mpg's and camaro in the same sentence - to sum it up, you're doing it wrong! My first choice if you want sporty and economy in the same car is always the VW GTI/GLI(if these are still made!).

I do love the style of the thing. There's only one current GM car that I'd own, but the Camaro is probably my second favorite from them. If it wasn't so popular with drug dealers around here I might consider owning it

That is like car #7 since you've been posting here.
I get a new car about every 6ish months.

So why bother worrying about engine size, gas mileage, insurance, etc. etc.? Six months isn't even enough time to create an a$$ groove in the driver's seat.

The exterior design is absolutely terrible (to a lot of people), but as a package the Aztek is fantastic. It and its platform-mate, the Buick Rendezvous, are two of the most versatile vehicles ever put on the market.

I would seriously have an Aztek, with the tent attachment, if I was going on a multi-day road trip, such as a two-day drive to Orlando (which is happening for me in May). It would save a bundle on overnight stays.

Thought the same thing when I looked at an Aztek. So versatile. So ugly.

The Vehicross was the worst.

In all honesty, I really like how the Juke looks. I'd like it more if the roof wasn't sloped so much toward the back, but I really can't judge as I haven't actually lived with one.

^I don't mind it either. The front end, however, has me confused. The lights are all competing to be the main focus and neither set is winning and then the grill just decided to eat the one set and call it a day. If the front end was revised it would be a cool looking little car.

I wish there were more daring small cars for sale in the U.S. I will be looking for my first car in not all that long and would like something small and efficient but still fun to drive and exciting to look at. It's unfortunate how most small cars seem to take the vanilla route when it comes to styling.

There's something about the styling of the Mazdaspeed 3 that I can't see myself living with. I don't dislike it, just don't see myself owning one. I actually really like the Volvo C30 but the price is a little high for something I would be looking into unless I bought used. I like the Golf mechanically speaking but I'm not a fan of how it looks. I actually liked the boxiness of the older ones, but the current generation doesn't do anything for me. This decision isn't one that will happen for a year or two anyway so it isn't like I have to make my mind up anytime soon
