PKI Jizzman Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 Hey TPR, I attended Ride Warrior's Weekend at KI. It was this past Satuday and Sunday. It was KI's first coaster even, I believe. There were 10 accredited groups there, and it was a big crowd. It was a lot of fun. There was extra extra ERT on Diamondback, walkbacks, free drinks, free cake, and TPR memebers! The roll call for TPR was: Me, Ted (tgadams), Jared (Reon), Mike (Voyager), ...I didn't catch his name, I think it was something like...slither###..? If you see this thread, be sure to post, dude! Property of B&M?! .....well, we did sell our souls to be apart of those 30,000 cycles before opening. Diamondback.....wayyyy up there. Beast..down here. Hey Vortex! Lookin' good. Airtime hill #1 on the return. Beast is gas powered. This would be a GREAT prop for the Down Home Country show. Heading into the helix. They widened the radius of the helix, as they said in the info meeting. New credit, Jeff. No this isn't the porn. My mom tells me I'm a gangster. So peace, yo. Look out for that trim! The impression the Beast leaves me. I've been spotted! Nope. Aging well? I'm....INSIDE of the Beast! Hurry, run the enthusiasts over while they're taking pictures! First hill says peeka-boo Going into the second lift's drop A lottttt of people. And overview of that I was seeing. The first hill Very impressive structure from the ground. Thanks for the amazing pictures that I had no idea that you were taking of me Riding Diamondback 10 times in one day thanks to ERT until 1 in the morning was fantastic. You also got some sweet reaction shots. The one with the guy's eyes bulging out of his head is gold. Oh and the firework shots I'm assuming you'll post looked sweet. Can't wait to see more! I was even posing on Beast during the walkback. Oh well, I'm just glad I had to leave for work. Lines were getting so long that all I had time to do was a bit of DBack marathoning via single rider line. Not like thats a bad thing, ofcourse... It's pretty day or night Heading up out to the lift, reclining backkkk Splashdown area and Rivertown at night Me, Ted, Rach, and Alyssa Always a good display... Vortex is melting! Ohhh.... Interesting what a little blur can do with shutter speed.... Waiting for the Beast as the fireworks start up. Speeding down the first drop away into the darkness Approaching the top of the lift in the blue night sky. This picture sucks. Roaring around the helix... A shot of Diamondback at night from the Beast Beast Cake! And a free old souvineer drink.....but we already have unlimited drinks...wtf? Little Bill! Later he stopped in to the Beast Birthday Party and danced. The party sucked, though. It was like a junior high dance. But hey, it's their first event. Hm...interesting....if Nick goes away, KI can kiss their Golden Ticken reign goodbye! Pubs HQ, lol VIP lanyards. Really didn't need them....it was like a "look at me, I'm with RWW" All the guests were asking how much we paid or how we got them. The second airtime hill. About 190ft? Insane. Such a nice day. I think I said that already... In case you didn't know where Diamondback was.. I see coaster enthusiasts! It was a 3 train wait for back seat when you left on the Beast walkback, so I rode it twice before the line picked up. I kept screaming TPR and such when my train roared by all the cameras... Still, slightly mad at myself for not signing up for the event. ERT on Diamondback til 1 am=bliss. Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to make it up for Big Mike. I can't think of many better or more relaxing ways to spend an afternoon in a recliner under the beast structure with a cooler of beers. That would be heaven!
