Stoksy
I think you should use A, although the other ones are great, I think that the first one has more of a family appeal to it. And is perfect for Charleston Gardens which IS a family theme park.

coasterdude5
1982 8th Season  Congratulations to the three winning postcards! All of the entries were excellent but we felt these best reflected Charleston Gardens Amusement Park and would sell the best in our gift shops!  - Joseph Reynolds

coasterdude5
1982 8th Season  Hello again! We are moving steadily through our eigth season. During this lag of the summer months, there is unfortunately not much to update you on. However word around the office is that a movie will be shot in the park in the coming weeks! I'll be sure to update you if I hear anything more!  - Joseph Reynolds   Gully River Rapids is ther perfect ride on a hot July day such as this!   I heard that "soaking geysers" will be installed near the lifthill back to the station next year.   See you next time! Chris Benvenuto
Mr. Reynolds, may I ask for a good idea of the park's operating hours? It may seem a random question, and I would like to know. Â Thank you!

coasterdude5
Mr. Reynolds, may I ask for a good idea of the park's operating hours? It may seem a random question, and I would like to know.  Thank you! I've never thought of that. I'd say they're similar to most amusement parks (late morning to late night).  1983 9th Season  Welcome to Charleston Gardens Amusement Park's ninth season of operation! While there are no new attractions this year, we are making improvements all around the park!   New costumed animals will be making their way around the park this year.   Our gift shops will feature a wider array of Charleston Gardens Amusement Park apparel.   I look forward to this season! coasterdude5
1983 9th Season  This season is moving along seemingly a bit slower than past seasons. It's likely because there is no headliner new attraction to keep things interesting. However, I have a feeling next year will more than make up for the "slump" this year has been. Actually, I know it will!  - Joseph Reynolds   The remnants of a tropical storm have been passing through the area the trend is expected to continue over the week.   Thankfully the weather has not been bad enough to close the park!   Stay dry out there! triggernel
I know you don't usually take critism, but I think the asphalt really needs to be broken up a bit, with something. Just a thought.
Pure Impurity
Okay, this is going to be a bit of a stretch, but I'm gonna say next year's attraction will be an Intamin bobsled ...
coasterdude5
1983 9th Season  I thought I would take the time to review these past eight seasons in case you've just come aboard the Charleston Gardens Amusement Park train ride!  1975  The park opened its doors in 1975 to large crowds, even though it was half the size it is today! The park opened with Carolina Calamity, Parachute Falls, The Great Twist, Charleston Railway, Carousel, Indigo Plunge, Scrambler, SkyWheel, and Monster Mash Hotel. While the park had a limited selection of rides, famiiles knew a great day would be had at Charleston Gardens Amusement Park.   1976  To celebrate our nation's 200th birthday, Charleston Gardens Amusement Park debuted "Derecho", a patriotic storm of a ride. As one of the tallest roller coasters in the nation, Derecho quickly became a crowd favorite and placed Charleston Gardens Amusement Park in the national spotlight.  1977  In 1977, Charleston Gardens Amusement Park opened the "Atlantic Avenue" area of the park. This was the first addition that added to the park's size. Charleston Railway's station was relocated in order to make way for Atlantic Avenue. Granny's Bakery opened, among other shops and eateries on the street. However, the park began to suffer that year as internal management issues sidetracked operations at the park. In the hours before an auction was to be held, Funtime Parks, Inc. bought the park and would reopen it in 1978. The Great Twist was removed from the park midseason due to mechanical issues.  1978  Funtime started things off right in 1978 with the addition of The Great Swings, replacing The Great Twist. It was the first ride the park had seen in two years. Though it was a small addition, guests were pleased to see that a new ride was at Charleston Gardens Amusement Park.   1979  In 1979 we saw the addition of Heatwave, one of the first rollercoasters in the southeast to go upside down, not only once, but twice. The ride instantly became a recognizeable landmark at Charleston Gardens Amusement Park   1980  1980 brought another massive addition to the ride lineup at Charleston Gardens Amusement Park. Gully River Rapids opened as one of the first of its kind and became a huge crowd pleaser, especially during the summer months. SkyWheel was removed at the end of 1980.   1981  New for 1981 was Gully Gulch Grill, a large family eatery that offers guests a great view of the entire park. Scrambler was removed between 1981 and 1982.   1982  Debuting in 1982 was the largest addition in the park's history - Harbortown. Among the new Harbortown Drive ride, Scrambler and SkyWheel both made triumphant returns in Harbortown.   1983  And here we are in the park's ninth season. Welcome to 1983! We see great things in store for this park. Be sure to stay tuned!  - Joseph Reynolds Edited January 28, 2015 by coasterdude5

coasterdude5
1983  It's getting that time. We are beginning to prepare for next year... I'll give you a hint - it's going to be big, it's going to be fast, it's going to be a monster of a ride. Still guessing? More hints to come.  - Joseph Reynolds   Through the trees!   Splashdown!   More coming soon! Edited January 30, 2015 by coasterdude5
