IceDragon Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I like homemade chicken pie... If that's not a great pie, I don't know what is
Nrthwnd Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 BUMP!!! And I found this in the Amazon.com BROADWAY MUSICALs section, which surprised me at first. But, if you're a big fan of the Broadway musical "Waitress" and/or love to bake/eat PIE, this book could be the one for you. Coming out in late May... https://www.amazon.com/Sugar-Butter-Flour-Waitress-Book/dp/0735216339/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492987922&sr=8-1&keywords=books%2C+sugar+flour+butter The cover looks AWESOME! (o: And I will order one, and start pie making!
joelwee Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Knott's Berry Farm's boysenberry pies are the bomb. I bring one home whenever I visit that park.
Nrthwnd Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 ^ Okay. And here's mine. And I will make Him as a nice gingerbread-style pie, nom nom nom, indeed! DisneyParis. Or maybe make Him in butterscotch?
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 A local eatery is making apple pie tacos today. Is there anything more American?
Nrthwnd Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 ^ Better have cheddar slices on it too. American Cheddar Slices! And speaking of apple pie tacos... Happy Cinqo De Mayo!
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Nah, if you really want to go full Murkah, coat that sucker in nacho cheese. It isn't American unless it's not technically cheese!
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 That's the most Murkan "cheese" there is! On a side note, my great uncle used to own a cheese shop. He never stocked Velveeta. Not ever.
Nrthwnd Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 ^ Good for him. I think I tried 'it' once in my life, years and years ago. And never again, since then. We actually have a few great local delis and cheese shops that carry wonderful cheese selections... with none of 'that' around.
