Bob! Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Hi everyone! I created a megalight Intamin on RCT2, called El Toro (I know,...). This coaster is themed on western, and also on natural "landscapes" (this ride contain many tunnels). Here are some screens of the ride, and a download link. Please, rate and comment it. Enjoy! http://www.megaupload.com/fr/?d=7RRF4N1C SCR8.BMP Queue line and station. SCR6.BMP Here's the layout. SCR5.BMP S-turn & tunnels. SCR4.BMP Tunnel & s-turn SCR3.BMP El Toro's first drop. SCR7.BMP The ride entrance.
thrillrideseeker Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 The coaster looks good! The only thing is... I'm not a fan of the name. I mean I love the real El Toro, this one just doesn't seem to live up to then name, but other than that its great! Good job! ~Matthew
Bob! Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 Yeah, I don't really like the name "El Toro" on this coaster. So, if you have any idea for the name,...
thrillrideseeker Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I pretty much suck with coaster names, but here is what I have come up with. Based on the trees, it makes me think of a forest... so here it is "Ein Wald Fliegen" which is german for "The Forest Flyer" I think it fits. What do you think? ~Matthew
Bob! Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 I think "Forest Flyer" in german is...uumm...bad. Seriously, I don't very like this name. I've no idea for the coaster's name, but certainly not "Ein Wald Fliegen" Anyone else have any idea..?
thrillrideseeker Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 HAHA! I agree it is bad! I told you I suck at coaster names! But I tried ~Matthew
Bob! Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 Lol! It's not your fault! And I suck at coaster names too! But...why a name in german?!? lol
Team Thriller Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 And also "Ein Wald Fliegen" doesn't mean The Forrest Flyer, it means "One (or A) Forrest Flyer" and flyer is meant as an action. If you want The Forrest Flyer, you should go with "Der Wald Fliege". --James
triggernel Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 How about, Leaping Mantis or The Cricket
Kalepi_Konei Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I have a really original name, how bout Batman: The Ride, or maybe if you wanna be SUPER ORIGINAL try Superman!
DBru Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 No, I've got it! Supermann (German for Superman. )
Bob! Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 Tree Rusher Heey! Tree rusher sounds great! I very like this name!
Steffen_Dk Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 You've done a fantastic job; I like how the track rushes through all the trees. Although I would really want to see some megalites with another drop that the steep one going into a sharp close-to-the-ground turn, I still enjoy looking at these "regular" layouts.
Stoksy Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 The ride is looking really good, I was just wondering, is there going to be a park around Tree Rusher. I reckon that would look really cool
Speeddeamon128 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 How about, Leaping Mantis or The Cricket I like the name Cricket for this coaster. When I saw El Toro I thought of GADV. Why not call it Flight Deck if you can't think of a name Cool layout though.
Bob! Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 I was just wondering, is there going to be a park around Tree Rusher. No, sorry but I don't think I'll create a park around this coaster. I'm actually concentrating on the Fantasia Gardens' development.
Mochtroid Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 how about GreenSnakeForestEater? On Fire! Just kidding, I'd call it Macaw if you are going for tropical. Maybe Cricket for a more temperate climate.
paintballer Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Put abunch of tall grass and call it "Snake in the Grass"
thunderguy345 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Awesome coaster!!! I also suck with names! What about: Treetop Chopper ?! BTW: Can someone tell me how to get the supports and catwalks pack? PS: How To get the extra thrill rides for example the frisbee??!! Please reply
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 ^I believe you can get some of the stuff automatically if you go to Coaster Fuel and download the Hopi Hari park. I'm not sure how to get some of the cool thrill rides, and you have to be a member in order to download it, but that's how I got a lot of the scenery.
Mochtroid Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 http://www.nedesigns.com/design/chimei/ Almost any RCT2 design will have the supports. For catwalks, just zero-clearance a Multi-D lifthill.
Ed Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 It would look alot better with some more tree types in there. Make a 10x10 grid and play around with different tree types to get a better forest look. Looks good though! I love the bright green track.
