I dunno - I see the Cavs having a run like the 2001 Lakers at least up until the finals. It's pretty obvious that they will be 8-0 once this Hawks series is done and they have pretty much been on cruise control. If Boston makes it they are going to be too tired (and LeBron too motivated after last year) and if it's Orlando they will dismantle them. There really is no doubt who is coming out of the East at this point.

^I'm sorry...did you just compare the dominant, unstoppable, Shaq-led 2001 Lakers that went 67-15 in a tough Western conference to a team that has one superior but guadable player that so far swept one 8th-seed team that was below .500? Wow. Apparently you and I ain't watchin' the same playoffs.

Not exactly.

I said they are going to have a similar undefeated playoff run - mostly due to the weak, inferior Eastern division that is no competition to them. In the West that year they certainly would not have run through it as the Lakers did.

^Noted.

I'm going to have to call shenanigans on the officiating. It's WAY too inconsistent and extremely biased. Apparently Stu Jackson is someone who vote for Golden Ticket Awards...

Derek Fisher Suspended

I dont know why, but its always funny for me to hear Lakers fans to call officiating "inconsistent, and biased". But thats just me, what do I know.

Fisher's ejection+suspension

both incidences were done out of malice, and I think Derek Fisher SHOULD have been suspended for misconduct, but I think Rajon Rondo should have too, and wasn't. That's where consistancy becomes an issue.

EDIT: On a side note, I'm watching the pre-show to Lakers Vs. Rockets game. Of course the begining narrative was how great Lebron is, How great the Cavs are, and why it should be a wrap now because so far they've won their first 7 playoff games by an average of 17 ppg. Well La-Di-Da. I don't see the justise in ESPN calling the Cavs for sweeping an 8th seed Pistons and holding a 3-0 lead against an at best "okay" Atlanta Hawks team. Not when you use the same term "dominant for a Chicago Bulls team to two sets of three consecutive championships, or the Los Angeles Lakers 3-peat years which saw a 22-6 road record against teams like Portland, Sacramento and San Antonio.

To make a long story short:

Are Lebron James and the Caveliers Overrated? No, they're a solid team

Are Lebron James and the Caveliers Overhyped? Hell Yea they are!

NUGS!!!!!

Just say this to yourself. "The denver nuggets are in the wester finals."

I never thought I would hear those words together!! Bring on kobe, dante jones will show him whats up!

Yeah, I must give props to the Nuggets. Although, I didn't feel confident that the Mavericks were going to win the series, I didn't see them getting blitzed like that. You would figure a team would eventually cool off.

This is very sad news. Wayman Tisdale was a bright spot on the team during his time here in Sacramento. He was always friendly, approachable, and took time to show the fans and the community that he appreciated them. Every time I hear his name mentioned I always think of his huge smile and friendly nature.

I'm relieved. Now maybe we can finally learn what's really wrong with KG's knee.

Lebron hired Tonya Harding to take him out!

^ Jim Morrison and Sammy Davis Jr. told me in a dream last night that David Stern was the one who hired Tonya Harding to take out KG.

Then they went off for some tasty Luol Deng, but I was not invited.

I just want to take this opportunity to say that Paul Pierce is a total douche. When he wins the title against an injury depleted Lakers, he's the best player in the world. But when the Celtics lose, it's all the injuries fault.
