viking86 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 The castle is coming along well! Looks fantastic!
StealthFan Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Can I just say I find it incredibly refreshing to see they they haven't put up a construction wall next to the Log Flume and are relying on the fact that the construction workers won't be stupid enough to go for a swim! I think the whole area should look fantastic when complete, Im sure both rides will compliment each other nicely.
BDG Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Prinsessia update... Lots of new spires... And a glimpse inside the restaurant... photos: Plopsaland
BDG Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Woodie update... The station goes here: Lifthill over there: First drop in this area: Can I just say I find it incredibly refreshing to see they they haven't put up a construction wall next to the Log Flume and are relying on the fact that the construction workers won't be stupid enough to go for a swim! They were busy building an actual wall... photos: Plopsaland

They were busy building an actual wall... Well why go temporary when you can build a nice big permanent concrete one haha. Also can I just mention the fact that this is one of the cleanest construction sites I've ever seen!
BDG Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Prinsessia update. Lots of color! photos: Plopsaland
BDG Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Prinsessia update... The tea cup dome installed: The restaurant will have a very cool view of the Zierer coaster nextdoor: photos: Plopsaland, PlopsaFansite, Plopsa Fans Edited October 25, 2015 by BDG
viking86 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Thanks for sharing, looks great! I love the tea cup dome!
BDG Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 The tea cups will re-open tomorrow! Test runs: [fbvideonew]https://www.facebook.com/Plopsaparken/videos/1060148257331108/[/fbvideonew] Lighting tests... On the other side of the park, not much is happening right now. But that will change soon... This mysterious trench is for the park train:
StealthFan Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Thats one off the most beautiful looking tea cup rides I've ever seen. I love the stained glass roof.
BDG Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 The first bents are up! Plopsa CEO Steve van den Kerkhof and constructions director Luc Van der Biest at the site: Construction will take 8 months! photos: Plopsaland
StealthFan Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Hmm I wonder what job the guy on the right has.
BDG Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) The new restaurant almost finished... photos: Plopsaland Edited December 8, 2015 by BDG
BDG Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 New woodie artwork... looks like there will be a new flat ride as well. Although only the wooden coaster will open in 2016. A functioning clock tower featuring Heidi and Peter: source: Plopsaland
StealthFan Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 That looks like a lovely little village around the entrance too the ride. Im sure it will look amazing considering what they managed to do with a tea cups ride.
BDG Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Woodie update... Lifthill bents under construction: photos: Pretparken.be
Hhappy Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 steady progress, should be a nice addition to the park.
pixelated85 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 What a fantastic addition! I hope more parks jump on the "small woodie with a kick" bandwagon. They're great as starter coasters for the younger ones but exciting enough for adults to enjoy as well. I enjoyed White Lightning so I have high hopes that this will be a solid addition to de Panne.
BDG Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Now that the park is closed for the season, they can start building on the parking lot... January 7: January 9: A big crane has arrived, so the taller bits should go up any time now... There's only this little hill at the moment: photos: Plopsaland
RyanTPM Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 ^Thanks for posting the pics, good to see they're making some progress with vertical construction
