triggernel Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I honestly don't like where this coaster is taking the park. It just doesn't fit in at all with the entire theme .
BelgianGuy Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Why wouldn't it fit in? As far as I know(for being a guy from belgium) New Orleans has a great music scene. I bet the coaster is well thought of. The only thing I'm not so fond off are the colours, you have alot of greys and whites in your fairground section. But forgetting the colours I think its a really good choice for the park. Also I'd make the station more of a concert hall/stadium type of building, but thats your choice and I totally respect your work in rct3. Just keep on impressing us as we all know your able to .

coasterdude5 Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 Thanks guys! I wanted the station to be a mansion, so it would differentiate from the "concert" theme that RnRC sorta has. The colors are based on Orleans Place Boardwalk's colors of black and white, since this is now the flagship ride of the park. Update Year 2 Hello again! Hard Rockin' is a hit! The ride takes it's wrath far away from the actual boardwalk. Because the owners didn't want the ride actually ON the boardwalk, the ride's lifthill was built facing away from Lake Ponchartrain but you get a nice view of it while you're screaming over the hills! The boardwalk wasn't too busy today which was nice. Nothing but coaster and sky! The rain seemed to come out of nowhere... check back soon!

Saltgrass Steakhouse opens late in the day, unlike the other restaurants which are open from lunch to close. Check back soon for more updates!

triggernel Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I think maybe the reason I didn't like the new coaster at first was, because I got aspect of your park wrong, I thought this was going to be a very local themed park, but I guess now I see that It will be becoming a a larger more nationally recognized park. SORRY

Barracuda still stands strong even though it's got Hard Rockin' looming above it. This mall area under the hotel is never crowded. I think it'd be the perfect place for a dark ride! The crowds are always a little lighter around dinner time - everybody's in the restaurants! I'm not sure I've seen a Hard Rockin' train leave that hasn't been nearly full.
