Highridin Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Nevermind that expand here circle. Was doing something else.
djackson Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 What about the area behind Wild One's turnaround/The ending of apocalypse and Roar
Highridin Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Yes, maybe can squeeze in there. On another board, I suggested making room between Mind Eraser and the flume. There is an angle that can be used. That might be too out of the way though.
djackson Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I'd love it if they found some type of way to put it in coyote creek because that area of the park doesn't have much going for it. If I am correct there is only four attractions in that section of the park. The only difficulty is that they would probably have to rename it. I could see gunslinger as a fitting name but knowing Six Flags it would probably still be named V2.
Jcoaster Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I agree with that previous statement of the Impulse going in Coyote Creek. That area is a dead end and could use a new ride to bring some traffic over that way. Besides that it is one of the nicer looking areas of the park and could use some love.
Highridin Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Exactly ^^. That's the point I made in the other forum. Good amount of space at that angle between Mind and the Rapids. There is a creek bed that runs behind there though. I'm not sure how it actually runs that way, but will have to be considered.
djackson Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Does anyone think we could be seeing Millenium Flyers on Roar this season?
djackson Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I don't think Six Flags would let the ones from Roar west rot. Why not give them new life at SFA.
Jcoaster Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Nope. Â It isn't outside the relam of possability that this happens. I'd actually expect it within the next couple of seasons if not this year. They just spent money retracking Roar and the PTC trains rip up track that performs GCI manuevers. If you have free GCI trains why not? Unless another Six Flags park needs them more, which I doubt.
SixFlagsAstroworld Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I don't think Six Flags would let the ones from Roar west rot. Why not give them new life at SFA. Â They are actually in storage at SFSTL possibly for American Thunder
coasterbill Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Roar pretty much blew our minds during Holiday in the Park. I hated that pile of crap with a passion a few years ago but it was running amazing last year and easily jumped from being one of the worst rides in the park to one of the best. Hopefully they manage to keep it running like it is now. On one hand I'm skeptical since it's SFA, but on the other hand running 1 train with 7 minute dispatches must be working wonders to keep the wear and tear down.
boldikus Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I too was surprised with how well that thing was running during my visit in the fall. We sat in row 1, but still, it was running exceptionally compared to a back row ride two years prior.

Nice moments of airtime throughout the ride.
Canobie Coaster Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 In its second to last season, Roar West was running really well for my rides with the Millennium Flyers. I'd love to see them make their way here. The PTC trains were never meant to handle a GCI layout.
MisterBrow Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I wish they would at least connect the paths from Coyote Creek to behind Roar and out to Superman. I hate having to back track to the Falls. One of the nicest things about the Mardi Gras area is the cut through to Gotham. So, if they could fit the V2 to facilitate that, that would be great.
Jason Maier Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Two ideas I've thought of for improving rides at SFA . . .  1. Converting Apocalypse into a floorless coaster 2. Giving Roar the RMC treatment  Which one do you think would be the better idea and which is the more feasible (in terms of $$ and time spent)?
djackson Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Rmc Roar. It would attract more people than Converted Apocalypse. Plus with the amount of other B&M's within a two or so hour distance it wouldn't really standout.
coasterbill Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Plus with the amount of other B&M's within a two or so hour distance it wouldn't really standout. Â Only coaster enthusiasts care about this kind of crap. That being said, you're still not getting a converted Apocalypse or an RMC roar. Cry about it.
Jcoaster Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 ^ While agree with what you said Bill, I don't think the "cry about it" was warrented.
coasterbill Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Really? That post struck a nerve? I mean... really? That was pretty lighthearted. I've probably made like 50 posts THIS WEEK that were more sarcastic than that one.
Jcoaster Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Im not upset, I just didn't think it was nessary. And I didn't see your other posts from this week. I don't check in here 3 times a day.

Been talking about it for years.
boldikus Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) @Jcoaster please don't get all delicate on us, we have enough triggered/PC/hypersensitive weirdos around here lately, I thought you were one of the cool kids. Â Seriously what happened to having a sense of humor around here? Especially the last few hours? Whoa. Is this end-of-off-season insanity or what? Â Edited March 16, 2017 by boldikus
coasterbill Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I give up. It's officially impossible to make a post that doesn't offend people / upset people / whatever you want to call it. That was clearly said in a joking tone and anyone who's been paying attention to this site for the past few years knows it. Good lord...
