^^Thanks! The original design included a vertical loop with the MCBR threaded through it, but it was removed for clearance issues...

^Thanks, but what about it don't you like?

Sorry for the confusion Steffen, but he's right, those colors are temporary until management puts forth the money for a repaint...lol

I like the park and the last ride but I think it needs to be themed better. At the moment it seems you've just chosen 2 or 3 mine buildings and just plopped them down. Howe about some fake rocks or something around it?

Cheers

1995

Hey everyone! Sorry for going such a long time with no update. You see, the park got into some trouble last season. We added Rampage for $13.5 million, and only got $9 million of that back. We were in the hole...and it was deep.

As a result, the 1995 season brings nothing new to us, except for a few park touch-ups. Both Cyclone and Dash received paint jobs, and some benches were replaced. That's about it.

Customer satisfaction dropped this year too, for we had to limit coasters to one train operation, to cut running costs. But at least Screechin' Eagle got its 4th car back!

Fortunately, things are looking pretty good in 1995. Hopefully, we can get out of the red after this year, and introduce something new for 1996. If not...the park will be put up for sale.

Here are some pictures from this season:

The lake still looks beautiful...

Dash's new colors. Looks kind of like Superman! lol

I really like Cyclone's paint job.

Still my favorite coaster, even though you lost us $4.5 million...

Who knows what the future holds for Dogwood Lake Park...?

Hahaha, wow

This is one of the best RCT2 parks I've seen to date.

And it just keeps getting better and better, I can't

wait to see the next updates.

Cheers

Thank you all, and I think you'll be happy with what I have to tell you. And no more downloads just yet...

1996

I'm happy to report that Dogwood Lake Park is out of debt, and will not be sold anytime soon!

With all of the cutbacks last season, and attendance rising in hopes to save the park from other operations, the Daily's have come up with enough dough to bring you a couple new attractions this year!

Take a look:

The new ride for 1996 is Jitterbug, a classic Waveswinger.

The ride isn't very popular because of its location, but hopefully in the future this will change...

Also new to the park this year is the Rivershack, a much-needed restaurant!

And to rap it up, here is a pic of the future expansion site. The proposed midway will soon surround Thunderbolt.

What do you think?

Love this park! It's making me frantically search for my RCT2 disc.

Where did you get some of those rides though? (the frog hopper, tumble bug, monster, round-up, etc.) I don't remember them being in any of the expansion packs

Posted

^Thanks! And you're right, they weren't in the expansion packs (in fact, I don't even use those...)

The rides were either Amazing Earl files (which will be included in the download, when I release the park) or were automatically picked up from other parks when I downloaded them.

If you go to http://www.brandonscoasters.com, register, and enter the "Members Only" forum, you can find the latest download (1984 Preview) along with the AE files. This will grant you access to everything I'm using for DLP: rides, shops, and scenery!

^Press "Ctrl+S". That will take a screenshot. When you exit the game, you can find the screenshot under "My Computer/C:/Program Files/Infograms Interactive/RCT2".
