THE BIG MIKE ROAD SHOW - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PICS ON PG 769

Recommended Posts

Damn, that's alot of people. Mr. Mike, even though you most likely know this already, I feel it is my duty to inform you and the Big Mike readers that there is a new credit at Coney Island, the Dragon Wagon. I'm sure if you finess the ops with your Big Mike charm, they'll let you ride it.

Thanks!!!

That is awesome news!!

I did not know about the new coaster, so I will try my best to get on it.

Originally this was not going to be an official Big Mike Road Show visit since I did a report on Coney Island last year, but this new coaster changes everything!!

It is now my duty to report about this new coaster to all the Valuable Big Mike Readers.

So this Saturday is now an OFFICIAL Big Mike Road Show 2009 stop, meaning full Big Mike Road Show gear including the World famous T-shirt, a Mikestery Treasure Hunt Card, and a rubber ducky will make the trip too!

Throw all this in with the Nathans Hot Dog eating contest, free admission to the Aquarium next door, and Big Mike has a few free passes for the Wonder Wheel and Sea Serpent roller coaster, this is a MUST NOT MISS opportunity for everyone!!!

Heck, we might as well go to see a Broadway show afterwards too!

Who is joining The Mighty Big Man??

Peace, Big Mike

Hi Big Mike!

Glad to hear about how you are counting the fair coasters by operator. I was talking to Jeff Johnson about that yesterday at Termination Day. That sounds like a fair and acceptable method. Though, I don't think I could ever wait in a 2hr line for a fair ride. The Bebes are way too impatient!

I loved the lucky dog report!!!! Too funny and sooooo well done!

Lady Bebe wished you could've been at Termination Day! We wish we could meet you at Coney Island!

Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Mike! You always seem to plan your visits when I am busy

I leave for Sweden on Tuesday! And I will be gone! 2 weeks without hearing from Big Mike

This may sound silly, but maybe we can do the search together? Maybe the 11th? 12th? Just a silly thought.

/Edward

I know I am going to Liseberg Friday...but im on a train to liseberg thursday and on saturday, im going back. (I am going to be in Kalmar most of my 2 weeks. Exceptions of the 3 days to Liseberg)

I really wanted to go to Grona Lund but that was saved for next year.

And Big Mike didn't put a Mikestery card at Liseberg

Although I hope to have a great time there anyways!

Sorry guys, the Mikestery Cards were all prepared, but never made it out of my pocket for various reasons at each park with Liseberg having wayyyyyyy to much ERT time on Balder lol.

The Big Mike Road Show wants to meet Brandy too!

Now you have to go back to page #1 and read the rest up to the Scandi reports lol.

Lucky Dog keeps begging me to go back to his home state of Alabama, so we may hit that next year

Thanks for saying hello Brandy!

Peace, Big Mike

PS - I love that you like and perform musicals, you need to come to NYC for a few shows with the family!

Hey Big Mike!

Really enjoying reading the BMRS, I don't post much on TPR at all, I would say I am more of a lurker! But I will definitely become a fan of the tour on facebook and I can't wait to read more of your adventures

Big Mike, I meant to ask you this question while hanging out at SFGAm last month. Where does Lucky Dog stay while you're traveling? Does he go to some posh dog hotel? Or, does some awesome dog sitter come by the Big Mike World Headquarters to take care of him? If you're ever in the area again, feel free to bring him over to my place. I'm sure my two dogs would love to have another buddy!!

I can't wait to see the SFGAm pictures.

Some pictures of the contest we are talking about!

Who knows when the voting actually ends, so if you are reading this, try to vote!!

SIDE NOTE - I took pictures of this because "I" wanted to enter, but missed the deadline because I am a dope lol.

I am a little miffed that I was going to enter "Alfundo's Fun Coaster" for a plug at the old Dorney Park days and when I read the top 5 consisted of an entry labeled "Roller Coaster"! How did Roller Coaster make the top 5???

VOTE STEEL FIRST!!!!!!

Thanks Mike! Maybe next year this game can be expanded. For example, lets say you go to Cedar Point. You hide an object and post a picture of the area that you hid it in (whithout giving away where exactly it is). It's almost like hide and go seek. We'd probably have to start a whole entire thread dedicated to the game!

Just going back through the thread looking for something else and found this!

The birth of the Mikestery Treasure Hunt Game!

Thanks Jo!

Peace, Big Mike

PS - To answer your question, I set Lucky Dog up in the local Pet VIP Suites, a place where he is loved, taken care of, pampered, walked twice daily, supplied with tons of love and treats, 3 full meals and a midnight snack, and is his home away from home. I buy out the whole place so that he gets 100% of the attention! Mom and Dad run the place well

Thanks for the plug Big Mike!! The voting ends at 4 PM on July 4. We have a slight lead now but with the help of the Valuable Big Mike Readers our chances of holding on have improved!!

I will keep everybody posted on the results daily.

Thanks again and ---

Awww, thanks! Lucky Dog is an Alabamian? That's awesome! You have to bring him home.

I do love musicals and performing; that's how I met my husband! One day I will make it to NYC for a show! For now I just have to catch the tours as they roll through Birmingham or Huntsville. But one day!!
