I had no idea that ride was so old, and fairly well known as being terible when i posted that. Yet I await this with as as much excitement, if not more than before.

This trip surely will be educational!

I have some tips for August 6th:

First of all, I think that you guys are CRAZY for trying to attempt Idlewild, Lakemont, and DelGrosso's in one day! You'll spend more time on the bus than in the parks. Idlewild is in Ligonier, a 41 minute drive from my house. DelGrosso's and Lakemont are in Altoona, about an hour away from my house. That's an hour and 45 miute drive in between parks. I would do DelGrosso's and Lakemont in one day, and Idlewild in one day. (In fact I just got back from Idlewild a little bit ago!) But, each to his (or her) own!

Now seeing you have limited time at Idlewild, I recommend hitting RolloCoaster, Wild Mouse and the Caterpillar. You might be attracted to the flyers, but the Caterpillar is more rare and worth your time. (See a Picture Here: http://www.ridezone.com/rides/caterpillar/cat020.jpg) You spin around for awhile, and then the canopy covers you and there's a fan that blows on you from below. I haven't been to the other two parks in a while, but here's my best bet.

For Lakemont, get the credits, and maybe one of the flats if you have time. Maybe this: http://www.joyrides.com/lakemont/photos/skydiver.jpg

I think for the kiddie coaster, you have to be under 12 or have a kid. (I have the credit. It's the one that made me a CW. I plan on getting the only credit I missed at Kennywood soon)

Now i havent been to DelGrosso's since they took the Zyklon out, and that was when, in 2003? So i have no idea what to do!

If you have ERT, completely ignore my post. I just realized that .

(If you see a person that's not part of your group at Idlewild in a CE 10 shirt, it's me![That's not a guarentee, though])

Try a TPR trip some time. You'll get more done than you ever though possible. On the Europe Trip, I had most parks credit whored out within the first hour or two. I *always* had time to explore the park, take photos, check out miscellaneous dark rides, flat rides, etc. If anything, Elissa generally allocated too much time to a given park and we often voted to leave early.

This question is for Robb & Elissa or anyone who has been on a TPR trip. I take lots of photos & videos on my trips & I'm going on the Behemoth trip & east Coast trip. Right now I have 9 memory cards for my digital camera which can let me take 3284 pics. Do you guys think thats enough? & I have 6 mini DV tapes for my video camera because I also take lost of videos which I post on Youtube. Each video tape has about an hour of video. Is this enough?

You know your photo and video taking habits more than any of us do! Bring what you think you need. Worse case scenario, Robb always has extra MiniDV tapes, and he can burn some of your photos on a DVD so you can wipe a memory stick.

Thanks a lot. Its not the East Coast trip I'm worried about because I've been to most of the parks. Its the Behemoth trip that I might go camera crazy because all of the credits I've never been on

Speeddeamon from what I've seen with other people on the trips, and from my own personal experience, you'll likely have a much better time if you just relax and enjoy the experience instead of trying to document every second of it.

You can end up spending so much time behind the camera that you become detached from what's happening at the moment. There will be many many other people on the trip that are also taking lots of pictures and video, so if there's something you miss there's a very good chance that someone else got it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take any pictures, but there's a nice balance for every person and hopefully you'll find yours.

^ Yup!

On the trips I don't take a camera safe in the knowledge that Hanno and Robb are taking far better pictures than I ever could and i'll get an awesome DVD of the whole trip, so I just enjoy the experience and let other people document it!!
