Vffreak07 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Usually every year I get something coaster related for christmas, whether it's the ACE calander, or a DVD, or a book. (Speaking of that are there any new good coaster books out?) Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good books/DVD's/anything coaster related Christmas Ideas? Thanks.
Scaparri Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Do you have the entire TPR dvd collection yet? Aside from that, I'd ask for season passes if I were you.
YoshiFan Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I might ask for the Talon Statix model, although that's a kind of limited gift since they only have models for a few parks now
Vffreak07 Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Actually I'm getting that as a late birthday present (August). I don't have any of the TPR DVD's. I'll consider getting one or two of those maybe?! Hey Robb-You havin any TPR Christmas Sale??
WillMontu Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Go here first If you already have everything from there, consider: -Some of the stuff from eBay (ie. coaster cars, memorabilia) -Drink coasters -ARN&R's Cafepress store (it is Cafepress, but some of their stuff is funny) -KNex/CoasterDynamics toys
christianscoasters Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 ^ROTFLMFAO!!! That was great! But I think a good gift that is interesting, is maybe a basket full of park brochures, maps, pics, and lots of stuff like that. Whenever we go out of state to a hotel, I will pick up every brochure if it has a roller coaster or water park in it. My wall is filled with them!
Vffreak07 Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 A membership to Weight Watchers. Nope-I'm not an ACEr.
downunder Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Well I guess a large quantity of gravy will be no good either. Seriously, a lot of parks like Cedar Point have on-line stores with lots of cool stuff.
BarryH Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I'd go for Season Passes. When I was an Architecture major in college, people bought me all this architecture junk I never needed or wanted.
rct2wizard360 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Theres that sweet Millenium Force model CP should still be selling on their website...
Sparebear75 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I saw this in this week's Toys R Us flyer (but found it cheaper on Amazon)... http://www.amazon.com/Magnetix-28396U-I-Coaster/dp/B000EQHK26
holyblakbelt Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 If I get a Wii anytime soon (and I am looking! ), I'll ask for the new Thrillville game. But I did get a coaster calender not by ACE once from one of my sisters.
Simon Baynham Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Usually every year I get something coaster related for christmas, whether it's the ACE calander, or a DVD, or a book. (Speaking of that are there any new good coaster books out?) Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good books/DVD's/anything coaster related Christmas Ideas? Thanks. www.rollercoastermedialibrary.com is all you need. Click on the left menu for over 300 park / coaster books and DVDs that you never knew existed! Simon
sfmmrules! Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 A plane ticket to your favorite park! I was given a plane ticket to LA for a couple birthdays so I could go to my favorite parks Disneyland & SFMM. Those were the best birthday presents ever! It would certinally work for a Christmas present! I might ask for a trip to SFDK day after Christmas so I can finally get on a roller coaster this year!
FatManc Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Calendars are always good... so that you can mark down the dates of your trips to the parks throughout the year, or countdown the days to your next trip, etc! I think there are a few on e-bay, etc at the moment. Just try searching for roller coaster calendar. Hope this helps Fat Manc
Moose Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Money for TPR trips. That's what my parents give me (well that and a new stove) As for gifts, like others said, maybe a season pass, or look on your favorite parks website, they may have some nice stuff.
