CoasterEricHP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I couldn't get it to fit either.. HMmm.. There's a train in it though. I didn't get my piece yet! I'm starting to think my school mail might have filtered it out for some reason. I'll keep checking.
SnooSnoo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Right now, i'm seeing Superman: Escape, Colossus, and something else.. not sure.
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 It is looking Maverick-esque, at least judging by the train. ^^Can you check your junk mail? See if it's in there?
SnooSnoo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 1. Its No-Limits.. no way you can know the coaster type just from that. 2. Thats not a Maverick train.. more like a Intamin Mega train. 3. There is no reason to think its Maverick just because of that. How many other coasters have Maverick-esque trains? Lets not jump to conclusions now.
CoasterEricHP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Nada. The train does look like a No Limits Intamin train.. but the 5 rows is making it seem like if it is a No Limits rendering they are going for that Maverick style train.
rgb60 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 That latest piece does have the letters/characters running across the bottom. 5 pictures?
SnooSnoo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Just being a stickler.. because I can be.. Maverick has 6 rows in 3 cars. That photo is not a Maverick train with 8 rows in 4 cars. Now that we have THAT straitened out..
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 1. Its No-Limits.. no way you can know the coaster type just from that.2. Thats not a Maverick train.. more like a Intamin Mega train. 3. There is no reason to think its Maverick just because of that. How many other coasters have Maverick-esque trains? I'm not all that familiar with NL, so I can't really compare the puzzle with it, but just in terms of size and length, I thought it looked similar to Maverick. I don't think it's necessarily going to be a Maverick clone or an improved version, but I think it will have some similarities - similar shorter trains and a vertical/beyond vertical first drop. I'm still going for a multi-looper though. 10 or 11 is what I'm going for. If Nantimi is legit, that's what they keep hinting at.
CoasterEricHP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Haha.. fine.. I didn't feel like seeing how many rows Maverick really has and I didn't know off hand! I'm thinking we'll see more pictures on the far right. It'd be pointless to just have sky and trees the whole way down the image.
SnooSnoo Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I know guys.. I was just being a stickler..
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^I don't think that works either, going by the row and column coordinates. The letters along the edge wouldn't line up then...
Ccron10 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Even though if it was created on NL, it's still could be a real ride and maybe this is just a preview shot of it. You guys are getting me lost with the the pages! lol.
Coasterlvr_nc Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^^ Maybe it is supposed to be like that... And the four pictures rotate their own ways to make a whole image, if you get what im saying...
FeelTheFORCE Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^ Yeah, that's what I was thinking also. We'll see, though once we get all of them, because I don't think the quadrants are in order either.
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^^ I get what you're saying, but so far all of the pictures have fit exactly as they should, and I don't think it makes all that much sense for this one picture not to follow suit. I dunno, I guess we just have to wait for further pieces to see how they all fall in place.
CoasterEricHP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I open the grid in Photoshop and when you open up individual pieces they snap right to their appropriate spot in the grid without having to manually place them where they belong. That piece went to that spot so it's definately its "assigned" position.
Adrenaline_Rush Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^Ahh that or maybe they put it like that so when all pieces are revealed you had to unscramble a puzzle... Hmm....(plot twist*plot twist) lol.
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^ Well, that sure was nice of them to put half of it together for us already. EDIT: I've tried putting it in other places, and it doesn't fit anywhere else either. Hmmm. Maybe they're sending out some fake pieces? I mean, the saturation and clarity of it aren't even similar to the rest of the puzzle. Nantimi really can't do anything straight-forward, can they?
BeemerBoy Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I'm going with an elaborate hoax constructed by CP fanboys dismayed over the fact that CP will not be the focus of this offseason.
fbk2711 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Didn't they say that two wouldn't belong? or something like that...
Hersheypark08 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Edit - this isnt right sorry it will be up in a few minutes
natatomic Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ^ Why don't you try saving the image to your Desktop, then in your next post on here upload it instead of just pasting an image link? I don't think we can view a link from inside your e-mail account...
