I picked Gio. Has anybody ever had a bumpy or shuffling ride on Goliath or Titan? Didn't think so...

I know I've had some bad shuffling rides on Intamin and B&M's.

In the back car of Titan, yes. It wasn't horrible but it was night and day different from the front half which was very smooth.

I picked Intamin. All Intamins I have been on were smooth, whereas all the B&Ms I have been on, the older ones were pretty rough. TTD is smooth, MF is smooth, WT is smooth, Xcelerator is smooth, S: TE is smooth...on to the B&Ms, Mantis is very rough, Dominator is semi-rough, SCREAM! is rough, and Raptor is rough going into the final brakes. All I can think of right now.

This will inevitably come down to B&M vs. Intamin, but it should be noted that S&S's Powderkeg at SDC was probably the smoothest coaster that I've ever ridden - and I've been on a few B&M's and Intamin's. I'm sure that if they can pick up a few more launched coaster bids, their reputation will skyrocket.

The smoothest Intamin Ive been on was smoother than any B&M I have ridden, but the roughest Intamin Ive ridden was way rougher than any B&M I have ridden..... so I dont know who to vote for....

I say B&M. More of thier rides are smooth than Intamin. All the B&M's I seem to go on are all smooth, while some Intamins are some bumpy sections.

Same. Great example of this is Nemesis Vs. Rita.

Nemesis is 10 years old and I didn't headbang at any point. Rita's first corner pretty much bruised my ear...

In my experience, I would say Intamin.

Vekoma/Arrows are either really rough or smooth enough, Batwing -SFA and Invertigo -GA are two smooth Vekomas I've ridden, yet Mind Eraser -SFA and Boomerang -KBF are rough as heck.

B&M is known for smooth, and Apollo's Chariot was just that, but some are shaky and just a little off heart line wise. (I blame the seating arrangement)

Never been on a Togo. Goliath -SFMM is the only Giovanola I've been on, pretty smooth, but also forceful and not the kind of ride I'd marathon.

For wood, the smoothest one I've ridden would be Roar -SFA, but it was so smooth that I found it boring, for I know woodies to be rough gut busters, like Psyclone -SFMM or GhostRider -KBF. So GCI gets my smoothest wood award. (Get your mind out of the gutter)

Intamin gets my smoothest manufacturer award pretty much for the boring S:RoS -SFA and powerful Xcelerator -KBF.

For Inty, I've also ridden Cal Screamin -DCA and S:TE -SFMM, which are ok, but not the best.

Xcelerator is a great ride, and Superman is glass smooth, ok ride, but smooth nonetheless.

If any of you care, here is my coastercounter.

Im surprised that no one has even mentioned California Screamin! If you've been on it, you can hardly even tell that you are on a track. I've been on it four or so times and I could hardly tell that we were even attached to the track. It was so smooth it was unbelievable. (CS is an Intamin)

B&M's arent too bad either. Batman is the only one that is rather rough to me that I have been on. Scream wasn't smooth either (The Drop) but it wasnt rough by any means

Im going to have to go with Intamin for this one.

I'm gonna have to side with B&M on this one. It was tough between Intamin and B&M, but all I could think of is how much Darien Lake's Ex-Superman rattles throughout the course. I thought SFA's had it too, though i've only been on that one once.

I've only been on five B&M's, and Iron Wolf was the only rough one. I actually thought that all of Cedar Point's Intamin and B&M coasters were smooth.
