I love a good Schwarzkopf Shuttle as much as the next person, but I don't think it would be a good fit for CW.

Perhaps Silverwood in Idaho? This shuttle would be an interesting addition to that park.

Greezed Lighting being available again really puts a damper on my North/West Texas thoughts.

 

Indiana already has Afterburner? I believe it's called. It's for sale now though, the Arrow 5 story platform shuttle.

This is dissapointing. When I moved to Lubbock I was really holding out hope that this coaster would eventually see the light of day. Joyland really could have used that boost.

at $399k IMO I don't see it being on the market for too long. I'm sure some small park out there will take it and give Greezy a good home.

When I see this ride for sale, the first park that pops in mind is Holiday World. It would give them a cheap steel coaster to test out the market with. If the ride did not work out, they could easily sell it for about the same price.

Actually, the Schwarzy shuttle coasters have a good capacity, but being at CW, that would make it low with how slow they move it.

 

Maybe Marineland...or Holiday World. lol

This roller coaster screams South America/ Latin America to me. Many old generation rides are migrating south.

 

I am surprised at how much this ride is priced. Deja 'Vu from SFOG being 500,000, this is a lot for an old ride.

 

Guess we'll see what will happen to it.

If you look at a few websites such as www.italintl.com or www.rides4u.com they have a selection of coasters that are for sell with an asking price higher than what is being asked for Greezy. I would think the asking price is reasonable considering the work put into it. That is just my opinion.

Oh this is SO sad, but I can't say that I didn't expect this to happen. I fear we have now lost another GREAT Schwarzkopf shuttle. Although this would be a GREAT addition to Lagoon.

Unfortunately, that's what you kept saying all Summer. However, it would make a great addition to Lagoon, but we both know what would happen with that. Who knows Shane, you guys might have the money in a couple years if we have some blazing hot weather and still buy it. Is there room for it in Tukwila? My offer for Services is still good if you get a hold of it one day!
