vjgx Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 There's only one word to describe this... Epic. Nice job, Ryan!
Jew Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Why no lightsaber of justice in the car? And no ghost ridin' the whip.
Meteornotes Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 That was pretty good. Like some other folks said, a little long, and some edits would make it even better. I really liked the dedication at the end! dt
cfc Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Yep--that's pretty much how they do things in Fresno. Starts a little slow, but gets better as it goes (my favorite gag was the toaster, which is infinitely more practical than anything they install on Pimp My Ride). On thing that has always bugged me about the show is that they never show the aftermath of all that ride pimpin'. For instance, how much is the insurance on a 1977 Oldmobile that has been equipped with a plasma TV, video game system, and a bowling-ball washer? What sort of mileage does that beast get now? How long would it take your average punk to strip such a car?
BeemerBoy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 On thing that has always bugged me about the show is that they never show the aftermath of all that ride pimpin'. Yep, same here. And that goes for Overhaulin' too. For one thing, I just couldn't see myself using an overhauled Foose creation as my everyday ride. Lord knows, with my luck, it'd be totaled the very next day.
Wes Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 There's been numerous cars that have been "pimped" that showed up on ebay.
cfc Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 ^Those pimped-out cars always looked like a good bet for a Ripley's museum somewhere.
cobra_roll06 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 hey man! another awesome video! I think it was very well done how you basically done everything in order of the show but made it in too a excellent rip off! keep the videos coming! peace, Steven
Golfie Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 You guys are so white. Great editing in the beginning!
willski Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 There's been numerous cars that have been "pimped" that showed up on ebay. Sold for drug money? Score one for crack dealers!
cpfanatic Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Dude that was hilarious! I want to have my car krunked! What had to be the funniest was how you switched the cars in the end from some Chevy SUV to a Ford pickup. There was only one thing that dissappointed me in the movie... you never pounded it!!! Haha I'm just kidding. that movie is worth a pound it!
DegoRed Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 well after watching it, thats really all i could think of, to me I was looking at it from a point of that being a lot of work, but for what....i guess if you have a lot of time on your hands than what else is there to do, I will say though, you did put a lot of time and effort into it, like others said it was a bit long, i didn't laugh that much but the sheer randomness of it made it somewhat enjoyable
cpfan101 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 That's hilariously awesome. I laughed so hard and it made my day awesome! --David
jimbobcoaster Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Wow, Fresno is...... interesting, though I would like a tree built in my car Haha. Great video, quite funny too!
Reality15 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Awesome video, Ryan. Awesome. Can't wait for more.
