Then made a gamertag. And signed up for that Win ID or whatever. Can some one give me some steps on getting on LIVE. Im a n00b!

Masked_Maverick Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 ^ actually an XBOX is a gaming system that is not quite as good as a Wii (even though I have no Wii yet I want one) yet totally owns the PS3 and is getting Halo 3 at some point next year. WHile I am happy with my Xbox I would totally trade it for a Wii.

You have to pay to be able to play games online which is lame, but its fun. Anyways if that isnt it just say whats not working.

NitroRider Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 ^^Pay for the gold thingy...buy Halo 2...create profile...then click on "Xbox Live" then click "quickmatch" then wait...then shoot some people. If you don't have the game yet I wouldn't recommend going stright to online play because you will absolutely get killed. Also buy Gears of War and Call of Duty 3.

sickskillz14 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 the best you can probably do is check out the Xbox support site . Helped me with a few of the problems I had. If all else fails call MS and give them hell like everyone does.

(the paid subscription)

coasters 4 me Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Well, I got one of these Xbox 360 things for Christmas. And was thinking of hooking it on Xbox Live, but it sounds pretty complicated. Actually, I should read the instructions. I never do. Maybe that would explain why things go wrong all the time.
