TriboElectric
According to the RideSales site http://irmpri.com/current.htm as posted on a previous thread, FreeFall has been sold so I am assuming it will soon be removed (since the sales site listed the end of the 2006 season as the ride availability date) I am thinking that FreeFall fans should unite and say goodbye to FreeFall with multiple rides for 'ol time sakes! If there are any SixFlags ride ops or anyone "in the know" who might know what days freefall will still be open for rides, please post! Since there are only 11 days left in 2006 that gives us 11 days to get together and share some fun times!

Chr!s-O Yea, CP's has been on sale for quite awhile now, so if that hasn't sold, I don't understand why SFMM would be such a hot property.
Jew
^Oddly enough, SFMM's is probably the most modern of the group! They may have done a horrible job, but in the early 90's they actually upgraded all the electronics on the ride.
adc9787
I wonder if the ride "Wildcatter" at Six Flags Over Texas did the same upgrade. The ride was the first freefall to be installed which makes me wonder if the upgrade was installed because CPs freefall ride didn't sell while the same ride at SFOT did! -Andrew

Xtreme-me
when i went to the park yesterday, the ride was running as fast as possible and had hardly any wait all day because they were moving the cars in and out as fast as possible, i rode about 4 times. Coaster Sim. Fan
I wonder if SF just took them off the market and is scraping them. The defnitly scraped SFGADV that picture looked like it was blown apart. Does any one know if SFOG one was scraped or was removed in a manner that it can be rebuilt. colossus
honestly imo the ride sucks. The one at SFMM is not being taken appart. And the one at SFOG is being demolished not taken appart(look at the picture 1 more time). And isnt it kinda suspicious how all these sites about selling rides pop up and there not even associated with any of the park chains. ~Chr!s-O
Sir Clinksalot
Were thinking of going to SFMM tomorrow (Haven't been since August). If the ride is open I may have to take a spin on it for old times sake.
GMAN962
Have you ever taken into consideration that if a company buys the park, they might have to buy the rides with the park. Who knows, that could be ADDING it to the price of the park. It doesn't mean it's going anywhere. Just a thought. ~Mike

Calvin
Too bad these are disappearing. It'd be interesting if Intamin made more of these. They could be taller. Faster. Smoother. (fit-dit-dit-dit-dit)
