Ccron10 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 After looking through my old drawing folders I came across a bubble diagram layout of a pennsylvania themed park. Now I think I will try do do one for every 50 states if I have the time. NOW! To the pics! Here's a better view of the entrance. This is the park's center, Keystone Square. Instead of a statue there's a Huss Chaos ride. When you enter the park, the first area is Rhinetown with it's German Architecture. The Skyride will travel to the back of the park.
coasterfreak101 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 This is looking very cool, I'm loving the station/brake buildings for the Corkscrew coaster! It definately seems to have a Pennsylvania-like feel to it, not a big city/ghetto feeling like some parks do! Keep it up, I can't wait to see more!
Krazykral10 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Pennsylvania-like feel sorry that makes me laugh haha....it would be more pennsylvania like...if there was NO part of the park that was flat...
Ccron10 Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 Here are more pics and details including a park map. I didn't forget about the terrain, I added mountains into the plans for the back of the park. The park when it will be finished. To add to the touch of Keystone Square I built a racing woodie around it called PENN NATIONAL after the horse track. Kind of reminds me of BPPB's GRAND NATIONAL. This is one of the coasters so far. The name might be cheesey but KING AURTHOR'S ROYAL TWISTER was the only thing that came to mind.
apollo210 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Looking good so far, but King Authors Royal Twister, WTF! What does king Author have to do with Pennsylvannia.
kennywood!007 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Pretty cool park! It deffinately has a PA feel so far. (Coming from a PA dood here!)
NitroRider Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Nice! Another person who is impossibly better than me at RCT!
Ccron10 Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 I was having writers block(or in this case naming block) at the time. I changed the name to Freedom Phlyer since Pennsylvania was where the Declaration of Independence was signed. To be awnest I'm not the best at creating fancy parks.
coasterfreak101 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 ^Plus, there's always the Philidelphia Flyers (or is it Phlyers?) Anyways, this is looking great, I would definately love to visit! Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see Chocolate Town Mmmm!
Ccron10 Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 Chocolatetown will be filled with old rides from Hersheypark in the past. I may look into adding a chocolate themed coaster. The rides will be below  SKY RIDE The plan I have for this is to have it exit Chocolatetown and have the other station in Northern Frontier.  CUDDLE-UP I will be able to see it right when you enter the area. Just a spinning cups ride.  CHAOS I will build another one here.  CYCLOPS Just a basic enterprise ride.  WILD CAT One of the first roller coasters in Hershey Park. I still need to find out how the layout is and the area I'm working with.  MINATURE RAILWAY This maybe the keystone express railroad from Rhinetown or I could add a seperate one.  PRETZEL DARK RIDE mmm. dark ride.  MILTON HERSHEY'S DREAM It's not a real ride but it will be a chocolate themed coaster using colored water.  There will be more!!  I hope to get pics up later this afternoon.
Ccron10 Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 THIS JUST IN! I you noticed on the map there were 2 blank spaces next to the TIOGA FOREST area. I am proud to announce that one of the areas will have nothing to do with Pennsylvania. That area wil be called THEME PARK REVIEW WORLD. It will feature TPR member favorites and best of all, extreme coasters! The next area I will keep in the dark until I start buliding it and I will give hints and rumors while doing so. Below is an updated map. The NEW map.
Ccron10 Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 Here are some new screens of Chocolatetown. Like it promised, there's the chocolate themed coaster called MILTON HERSHEY'S DREAM. Next to it is the PRETZEL dark ride. Going from right to left: KEYSTONE EXPRESS Chocolatetown station. SKY RIDE the Rhinetown station. Middle: LOST RIVER with the old windmill. Bottom: The LITTLE COMET kiddie coaster. and also the TWIN FERRIS WHEELS. I filled in some empty space with a ne LIM Launched coaster called COLONIAL TWISTER Chocolatetown is now finished! This is what it looks like. Hmm. What would this coaster be called?
Worm Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I'm not really digging that red B&M. Lokks like the seaserpent is taking waaayyy too fast and the colors are just wrong.... Also that black LIM looks like its a bit chased. As in, build just for a credit. Almost like Scream!
Ccron10 Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 Here's today's screens. This is Rhinetown's food court. I also got Rhinetown done! here's the park so far. I finally got done Keystone square! I added a new coaster named after the state's motto.
Dailey Enterprizes Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 ^I love it so far... haha it'd be funny to see a Bam Margera skate park or something.
Ccron10 Posted November 12, 2006 Author Posted November 12, 2006 Over the weekend I got a big chunck of the park done. Sandy Gulch City has been completed and I just started on Northern Frontier and Eire Shore. Here are some screens. In a little hilly corner I built Pocono River Rapids and the Treetop Flyer family coaster. That turned out great. So far so good. Canyon blazer needed a water ride to interact with it. The Water Spirit water slide built for that reason. Also the Scavenger flying coaster was built for the same reason. Gunslinger is just a Six Flags Deja'vu clone themed to the wild west. Canyon Blazer is a cool coaster built entirly in the middle of canyons. The Keystone Express goes through the middle.
Ccron10 Posted November 12, 2006 Author Posted November 12, 2006 I just did this now. I have built the first building for TPR World!!!! Pic below. Most of the buildings in this area will be made like this.
Ccron10 Posted November 13, 2006 Author Posted November 13, 2006 NEWS FLASH! There maybe a possible construction halt to work on my coaster project. Check back soon.
Myself Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Sorry if this is spam *if so then feel free to delete this post* but what is the blue and white ride in this picture and where can I find it?
music11 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I have one of those if i think i know what your talking about and i got it from the summer showdown template over at RCPro.
Ccron10 Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Sorry about being late for the reply. I just downladed a park that had it. Downloading parks to me is a great way to get cool scenery and rides that other people created. Â EDIT: This just in! There is a chance for construction to restart on the park starting in Wednesday although I'm not betting on it.
Ccron10 Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 I am almost out of ideas for this park! Someone please help me with some suggestions and remember to look at the park map. Â After looking at ECZenith's Northshore Resort, it gave me a couple ideas for a new RCT3 park. The only hints I'm going to give you is that it's tropical themed, it has a water park on an island, and there's going to be a lighthouse with an observation deck, elevator, and roto-drop in it. I'll set up a topic as more details come foreward. -Chris
IwantRevenge Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I really don't like this i'm very sorry...you put in needless rides in free space...usually a good way to use up a small plot is by adding a food court or a garden. But it's not only that the LIM you added in the apge beofre is ugly, and jsut not very pleasent to look at...you started out nice but when you started to add needless rides it went downhill.
