Few years ago I used to go for spinning (cycling) lessons and I just couldn't pass the day without it.

But once I stopped I couldn;t get back to it again.

The bad news are that back than I could eat whatever I wanted as it all burned out and now ... I have the same bad eating habbits and the results are well shown all around (and round) me. I am fat.

I just need the courage to get back to the Gym but I find all the excuses in the world to avoid it.

i go to a gym twice a week (if you must know, 20-30mins on a cross trainer, 10mins running machine, 20mins upright bike, 5mins rower, 10mins recumbment bike, various leg and arm exercises with weights (range from 25kilo's to 60 kilo's)

ummmm... about 5-10 miles walking (at theme parks, lol)

3 miles walk (within school)

and finger exercises on the forum

^^^ I actually started swimming to gain weight! I was so freaking skinny (Six foot tall, 148 pounds!). I've now added 10 pounds to that, and I'm happy with it.

I still wear the same size jeans I did in high-school, and for that I am happy!

Cameron.

I've only gone up two sizes since high school. You looked taller than 6'.....maybe I'm shrinking, I'm 6'1" and 200lbs.

I'd like to get back down to 195, but it's been a struggle. My wife's brother swims for a Master's swim team. It's amazing how much muscle you put on swimming.

My boyfriend and I started working out at this small gym called Club Fit about a month ago. We go every morning for about 45 minutes before work and for about 2 hours in the evening.

I started in Early October at 236 and now I'm at 220.

Well, since I was off school for a week for half term, I have hardly done any exercise.

Although, when I start school, I do quite a bit of exercise. Normally, I have hockey for 1hr for Games on Tuesday. 2hrs for Hockey Practice on Wednesday, 2hrs Hockey Practice Thursday night, Hockey Match on Saturday Morning and a few times we have a hockey match on Monday. Although apart from that, i do no other exercise at all.

Usually I have soccer trainings 3 times a week plus games, I do also play Badminton once a week, swim about once a month, run to catch the bus very often, I do also 'walk' somewhat often. I cycle quite much in summer, but that's about all exercise I do really.

My current regimen is walking for 30 minutes or 2 miles, whichever comes first. I try to do it five times a week. I don't need to lose any weight, but the walking is really good for my lungs. I feel so much better after exercising.

I don't really go out of my way to exercise, but I will. I take fitness in school so I'm on the weight machines every other day. I've been to dietitions and doctors since 5th grade because they have been trying to prevent me from getting diabetes(It runs in my family). Last year I was at 189, and I finally went on a diet and stayed with it. In a few months I got down to 150. I've gained about 5-10 lbs. back, but I'm working on it. During that weight loss, I never exercised, just ate better.

I try to workout at least 4 times a week. Because of my work schedule and commute to Ft Lauderdale, I have to be at the gym around 6:30am, so generally I don't stay up late. I started working out as stress relief (and I get really cranky if I don't go), but it's becoming more of a confidence booster as I get more in shape (I used to be really shy). I even bought a bowflex for the house for the days I'm running short of time or if I want to get an extra workout in before I go out.

I enjoy working out and pushing myself. It's nice to shock people when they see me and then they see my ID. Yeah I don't look like I'm getting close to 40; and I'll tell people that I'm 38 because some people are 21 but look a mess. I did get a bit uncomfortable when I went to Islands of Adventure and got off the Bluto ride and I was soaked so I took off my shirt to wring out the water and notice mothers and daughters staring... then some guys started whistling! Not used to people noticing me, but I guess I'm on the right track.

My latest goal is bulking up a little and concentrating on my abs, chest and legs. I've put on about 20lbs of muscle since the beginning of the year and I'm looking to put on an additional 10-15 lbs after the holidays. This is all for gearing up for my 40th birthday... I want to look really good for that.

Oh and it's fun trying out clothes too!

I don't really excercise that much, but I'm in sports, and now that I'm in my school's cross country team, I've been running about 5 miles a day.

Cameron, you thought 6' and 148 was skinny? You don't know me then. I am bigger than I was last year and I'm still only 6'1" and 140.

I swim about 6000-7000 yards Mon-Sat and try to bike some as well. I used to be primarily a swimmer, but I got a really nice road bike for X-ams/birthday last year and I love riding. I think I might start doing some triathlons or bike races.

As for bike training, I just tool around, although on Sundays I do try to ride for at least 3-4 hours depending on the weather (record distance in 4 hours is around 70-75 miles, but I'm working on it).
