DallasAlvey Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Today I took some pics of my halloween decorations. We still have some work to do but here's what it looks like so far.10/30/06 enjoy- I knew I shouldn't have let him out of his cage. (Notcice the "Chest Splitting Zombie" in the background.) We dug this up fresh just last night. Sorry, I can't think of a caption. It's Bethany's worst fear. *RUN BETH! RUN!* We managed to skin an alien. You get the picture. no caption needed. It looks like a member from the Blue Man group has died. Here is our spooky courtyard entrance. Who wants to "Semour Gutz"? Here is our "Marcus the Carcus". Extreme close up of one of our tombstones. This is our happy pumpkin that ruins the scary look. Here is our spooky graveyard.
kennywood!007 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I forgot to decorate! Maan! Yours looks awesome. I like the dudes hanging from the roof by the door. Does anything light up at night?
cpfan101 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Ahhh! Scary! SEriously though, that looks really good. I didn't bother putting up decorations since I'm going to a party tomorrow night. --cpfan101
waterviper Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Marcus the carcus is awsome! Ya I agree that smiley pumkin kills it all! Pretty cool setup there!! One year when I was at my friends house I got dressed up like a zombie and pretended to be dead on the grass and when people came bye I would jump up and scare them!
BelizeIt Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 That's some Halloween "Spirit" at your house, I especially liked the Marcus the Carcus and the freshly dug up coffin. What are you going to be for Halloween?
DallasAlvey Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 Thanks for the complements. We bought most of our stuff from 'Spirit Halloween. I'm going to be the headless horseman for halloween. It's a great costume.
GMAN962 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I wish I had that much time/money/determination/inspiration. Sadly, I do not have that much time. I'm in high school now, and I'm taking some pretty hard classes (Note, I'm a Freshmen, and new to the High school thing.) alright enough of that and on to the main subject at hand... Nice Halloween decorations, be sure to post some pics of your headless horseman costume! Have a happy and safe halloween! -Mike
verticalzero Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Great Dec's, Did you have some spooky lights and a Fog machine..? I like "Marcus the Carcus". excellent. No-one in the UK would dream of doing this to their gardens, a shame as it's all good fun. I sometimes wonder why I should of not been born in the UK and not the US, you guys have so much more fun with your Theme Parks, Halloween and Xmas.
weeow Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Nice job Dallas. Looks pretty cool. I never decorate. Because I'm always broke and my parents don't really care about decorating.
ECZenith Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Hehehehehe... Marcus the Carcus... Good work Dallas, I love decorating for Halloween moreso than "x"-mas.
Thorpe park maniac Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 halloween really sucks in england, they never take it seriously, like i mean we had 3 groups knock at our door yes 3!!!!!!! justs proves that when it come to halloween england isn't the best of places to celebrate. oh yeh brilliant themeing dallas.
GMAN962 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 ^Over on my street, we got zero...yes, ZERO trick or treaters.......at this house, I don't even remember getting more than like 3 trick or treaters. You're not the only one with like no Trick-or-treaters. Dun worry about it. ~Mike
disneygurlz2s Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Awesome Dallas! Great job. I sooo wish I would have had my camera last night, as Sammi and I saw the greatest jack-o-lanterns ever! One was pretty big and carved so it had a good sized mouth. In it's mouth was a smaller pumpkin. Like he was eating it... a cannibal pumpkin! The one next to it had a wide open mouth-like an O-with all of it pumpkin guts coming out of it onto the sidewalk, like he had just hurled! Halloween is such a blast...glad you had fun! Shari
jynx242 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Hey Dallas, great job! I didn't get the opportunity do do anything for Halloween this year . When you get the chance, post a picture of your costume! I'd love to see it. david

So yeah, even in America some people don't get tick-or-treaters. ~Mike

By the way I'll get my costume photo up as soon as possible.
Ed Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Halloween really isn't that big of a deal over here. I don't actually understand the whole meaning of the day. Also people tend to grow out of trick or treating pretty fast. We have Halloween parties though where you just dress up and have a fun night... I don't think i've ever seen a house nearly as decorated as that over here!

The hill I live on has no lights, so it's pretty dark. 3. I can't think of #3. ~Mike
