  1. I just spoke to someone who is apparantly in charge of the project. It would seem that the project is currently frozen. The goverment has landed a full basket of red tape on it, and is causing magor delays. I offered my help as a graphic designer and overlall coaster enthusiast, now all we can do is wait and see if the project makes it out of Beaurocracy hell.
  2. ^Pinafari went bust? When?
  3. Not Pacific!!! That's like the mother of all pier-based amusement parks(from a familiarity point of view, not a quality point of view)! I would hate to see it be turned into something other than an amusement park. Then again there's a limited number of things you can stick on a pier, really, Nevertheless, I still didn't get the credit, so... Keep it.
  4. ^I haven't even heard of half of these rides. "Tickler"?
  5. I think I might have mentioned this before but there's no "A-sexual" option on the poll.
  6. just download it to the objdata folder. If it's a winrar/winzip file extract it to that folder.
  7. Heh, thank you very much!!! ^^There will be no more updates, the park is done. The giraffe is a statue, it's there because it's in a little garden/park-like area. 'sides, Giraffes don't live in Jungles so it wouldn't fit right in Aquatica. I dont knwo why you cant download anything from the amazing earl but theres a section for downloading scenery too. Everything goes into the ObjData folder, I think.
  8. No, seeing as I have no intention of getting a driver's license untill that new amusemnet park opens in the middle of the desert or untill every public transportation veichle around here spontaneously explodes. Did you ever spit out your dirnk when someone told you something shocking or hillarious?
  9. Well recently I starte dplaying RCT2 again and I've been working on several parks. However, limited by RCT2's restrictions on how many rides/scenery items can be used my grand project(Fakleand Worldwide) has flatlined, so I started working on a smaller, more humble park. Since I know not everybody has eveyrthing necessary to run this park, I'll put up screenshots of practically everything at the park. The park entrance. No plaza or anything, the second you walk in you are already immersed into the park, landmarked by the double decker carousel. If you turn right upon entering you get here. This is a short but fun launched coaster themed to old cars. It isn't incredibly fast or anything, it has just enough speed to get through the track. This is the Alice in Wonderland area. It looks like two giant amzes but it's actually 4 mazes. In the center there's the Mad Hatter's tea party, and naturally, a coffee shop. But tucked away is a tunnel titled "Down the rabbit hole." Those who go into it will soon enough find htemselves int he park's main attraction: "Down the rabbit hole" is an Alice in Wonderland themed attraction. You sit in catterpillar cars and travel along the giant maze, in which you escape the queen and her animatronic card soldiers spread all over the maze.(By the way, I forgot to take a proper screenshot but oont he upper left side of the screen you can see the soapbox garden racers) After you escape from the maze you finally find the queen's castle where you have to stealthly crawl about unnoticed untill you find the exit to the forest. After you do you stumble across the Tea Party, followed by a quick stop at the royal courtroom(advice to people who download the park: remove the ceiling fromt he courtroom to see what's in it) After all that you escape to find Alice still slumbering under a tree, and there the ride ends. Fantasyland is not what one would call short on theming. Overview of the Alice zone. All of which can be viewed from the observation tower Next is the Dragonfly Racers, a family racing coaster with misfortunately low capacity making it the ride with the longest lines in the park. Mythology is a section of the park themed around, what else if not Mythology. Aquatica is a boat ride that stars off in along jungle cruise looking for a hidden city. SPOILER WARNING! You find it. More of Mythology. At the bottomr ight corner you can see the station of Cerebus(Sp?) It is a giant B&M Hyper that goes over the park's river rapids ride. It wanders far away fromt he park itself. While Dragonfly Racers is a mild ride, Cerebus is extreme, and the road hog(I think that's it's name, I forgot, hehe) has a loop and a launch, which many guests might find intimidating, Hassenfeffer is a coaster that appeals to everybody. It's not too mild but it doesn't do anything crazy either. The park has other little surrpises sprinkled around but you'd have to download it to see. Fantasyland.SV6 Enjoy!
  10. Hmm yes... The feeling as we were all walking down that dimly lit midway in the quiet trickling of rain to the buses after a wonderful, event filled day at such a fun park with such an awsome group of people... I think euophoric is such a good word for it. The only thing that could have possibly been a tiny bit sad about that moment is knowing we're not coming back there the next day... But I think pretty much everybody on the trip loved it.
  11. Wow! That parks looks so much like a combination of Stricker's Grove and Coney Island OH, with a tiny hint of other parks around the midwest.
  12. Take me with you! Oh... Right... Plane ticket price... Well, back to work then.
  13. ^Haha, yeah! I was one of those people! One second I was as deep as youre allowed to go into the pool, seeing htis wall of water move towards me, next thing I know I am at the edge of the pool, next to one of those concrete islands for people to stand on and look.
  14. Wow, Jahan! That was an awsome TR! Really conveyed the awsomeness of Indiana Beach(As much as words can, that is, seeing as that park has to be experienced to really be gotten) I thinky you realy hit the spot when you said "The park proves that you do not need themeing to have atmosphere!" That photo of Mel relaly is AMAZING! I mean it is proffessional! I'm trying to get into art school and that's the kind of photo I would be proud to have in my portfolio! Chuck looks hillarious in the twist picture. Did he really see a ride collapse? That's gotta be awful. As for the freefall tower pic... Once again you managed to take a picture of me that makes me wonder "What the **** was going on at that point?"
  15. I do not remember there being an airitme hill before the overbank either
  16. My first time in CP I arrived to Sandusky by Greyhound Bus and stayd at the Breakers Express which is alot further away than the regular Breakers, and I'd imagine cheaper. We drove to the park by taxi, but I'm assuming some of the hotels might have shuttle services.
  17. Thank you very much, everybody! This is very flattering
  18. ^Who outside of TPR knows about me? I'm still struggling to make a name for myself around where I live! Paula used to be in that category but now she's a TPRer. This is all rather embarassing. Embarrassing in a good way, though. Kinda like a surprise party. Holiday is the park with the best PR ever. I don't ever recall a park focusing on me for just about anything, really. You are awsome Paula. EDIT - Paula, if you ever need any art done, graphics, whatever, free of charge, you let me know. I'll be more than happy to provide.
  19. Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I knew about beign posted in the Holiblog earlier, seeing as I emailed that picture to Paula and she told me in the reply, which I was sure to thank her heartly for, but to even go and post a thread on TPR about it! I am very flattered and thankful, and this defiantely made me very happy. This is a great surprise, and I also thank everyone who congratulated me... (And I apologize for making this sound like some snooty award ceremony speech, honest. I just couldn't figure out how to phrase it otherwise...) I am also very glad that I helped "brighten up an otherwise gloomy morning". James - No, I am in no way shape or form a celebrity, of the coaster community or otherwise. Might enjoy being one someday though
  20. Awww, what an adorable picture! Happy birthday Kristen!!! I am glad you enjoyed your first ever taste of ice cream! Was very fun meeting you on the Midwest trip and being able to make you smile. Kind of scary that you can already type better than me, though.
  21. I'm excited about finding out that an amusement park construction project around here which I thought got cancelled - didn't.
  22. AWsome TR once again, Jahan! Beech Bend was your favourite? Seriously? I enjoyed it alot but I think it might be like #4 on the trip for me. The orange ride was called Power Surge and it was full of cutting-off-people's-circulation awsomeness. Interesting to see all sorts of shenanigans you ahd no idea even took place in other people's TR. Tomi "Did Ryan seriously go fishing in Casey's shorts?" Zandshtein.
  23. Haha, Thanks man. Glad ya liked it Always good to hear feedback from the people in my comics.(or feedback in general, really.)
