I could easily see sometime like a flying coaster or a tight-ass booster bike coaster going in there. I say, scrap the Starliner, use that what, 15 million dollars it said? Totally out of line. Most parks in my opinion have been able to offer an awesome Atmosphere...like Disneyland...or like Elissa Said, Bonfante Gardens. A park doesnt have to have a "Hyper" coaster of Intamin coaster to be awesome! Sorry Elissa, But Bonfante Gardens here in Cali was an OK park in my book! A little overpirced, but an overall good park. Not a park I would likely revisit, unless they lower ticket prices. But I still enjoyed it. Snagged my credits, got some Dip-N-Dots, and I was gone! Cypress is one of those parks. You come, you do what you gotta do, then your gone. And most likely never to return again. As Robb stated above, we have been giving them support by dropping in, saying nothing but nice names and such. The park was very nice, well kept etc. But from all the rumors and for the fact of the filing for bankruptcy, you cant help but to think that maybe..JUST maybe...its possible to say the closure of CG may be soon. Eh, Ok, Starliner...cool. As for that Steel coaster....haha! So...I persoanlly think all these "Cypress Gardens Fan Boys" Need to chill out...we have the right to our own god honest opinions! Im debating on getting in on this competition...ugh....

I mean, Im not trying to come off as though its a terrible park! Which totally its not! I just dont see how they can keep their heads above the water from just having a concert now and again! I think the park is really cool. Has a homey feeling to it! Operations were pretty smooth and such when we were there! But I just cant see them staying in business that much longer. Yeah, I can see the announcement being the Starliner..but this is becoming more of a big deal then the Cyclone being torn down! Both of these coasters arent THAT great! Although I havent RODE Starliner...im sure if was THAT good, it wouldnt be a pile of logs in a swamp! -Ryan

Ummm just because you were there on an "off" day, doesn mean EVERY day is like that. I water ski all the time on the lake Cypress is on, and visit the park 5ish times a year and usuially there is a decent amout of people there. I wouldnt say its PACKED all the time, but the daily/weekly concerts do bring in a lot of people to the park, mostly in the summer. As for the announcement, I think it would be Starliner, I dont see what else it would be. They probably just bought Starliner for later, and now is that later. I was entering these quotes on Google...it comes up with the movie right away... So easy to cheat...maybe it should be a new game rule that you cant answer after 3 movie quotes or something.
