  1. OMG I love bobsled coasters, how far is this from Rochester's Airport? -James Dillaman
  2. The first time I forgot to include my email (i know, i know...) But I corrected it, please count my 1 vote WITH the email, lol. -James Dillaman
  3. Yeah, Mitch's death was the last in a number of deaths that hit me at once, including Elliott Smith's (A great musician and a family friend of my buddy in NYC) and a couple friends of mine from church. Hopefully this year will be better than the last couple. On another note, think a waffle-themed coaster would be great, complete with a maple-syrup "splashdown" at the end. I'm going to call cedar point right now, hopefully it isn't too late to change the theme of their new coaster for next year... -James Dillaman
  4. OMG, no one from australia has posted on here that I have seen! They're all gone, no, the horror, the horror!
  5. Did someone post an SLC as their favorite, or did I imagine it?
  6. Nice photos, I need to get back there, as I haven't been since Raging Bull's inaugural season. The bad news is I hear it's very braked now and the airtime isn't as good, is that true? Anyway, I enjoyed the photos, but you might want to put "Photo TR" in your topic, as I skipped over this like 20 times thinking there were no photos, lol. -James Dillaman
  7. Witht the end approaching fast, you have to ask yourself, "Have you found Jeebus?" -James Dillaman
  8. Um, I have no comment at this time, officer, and as for the person who said SOB was a lot smoother this year after the retracking, I'd let you know, but it hasn't been open every time I've gone to PKI, so meh. -James Dillaman
  9. Public Service Annoucement: Although it may seem "cool" and "gnarly" to drink a bunch of beer and then ride coasters, it isn't a good idea. Notice how Derek only got trashed, hammered, falling-over pissed drunk AFTER the day of coaster riding was finished. This should serve as an example for all you future coaster/beer enthusiasts out there. That is all. -James "The More You Know" Dillaman
  10. Um, to quote the late Mitch Hedberg, "Waffles are like pancakes with syrup traps!" So much better than pancakes.... -James "The waffle maker in the dining hall got me through college" Dillaman
  11. Have Fun, everyone going! Wish I could go, but Dollywood, Cedar Point, and Holiday World are calling my name, and I couldn't dream of going to europe until I hit them all up. Don't forget to kiddy-coaster-credit-whore it up for all of us back in the states! If you don't credit-whore, the terrorists win! -James Dillaman
  12. Waffles are good!!! Waffles are grand!!! I like to eat waffles every day i can!!! -James "Likes the new name and is sad it will probably change back" Dillaman
  13. OMG, Guy if you're serious hit me up and I'll hook you up with at least a couple parks, the rest you'd be on your own, though, as I can't get off work for more than a couple days, unless of course you come a week from sunday, then we'd have all week.... LOL. GREAT photo TR, the best I've read in a long time. -James Dillaman
  14. You want wood??? You better get your butt out here for a midwest trip, Guy. Between Mt. Olympus, SFGA, IB, HW, IB, CP, GL, PKI, and SFKK you can really get your wooden count up. -James "Doesn't that sound like a great trip?" Dillaman
  15. ...but it immediately broke down again, making me think they tried some sort of quick fix (duct tape maybe?) and it didn't work, so now they're going to wait for the part. -James Dillaman
  16. I don't know if I can take all this public forum flirting!! As long as the wedding is in full view of vekoma sideboob all will be well. -James Dillaman
  17. OTSR stands for "over-the-shoulder restraint. The U-Shaped bar that comes down over your shoulders on all arrow loopers and suspended coasters. If you can ride one you should have no problem riding them all, as arrow used standard OTSR's on all their rides except the mine trains and mouse coasters, etc. -James Dillaman
  18. OH, I didn't realize they were waiting on a part, that makes more sense. I was wondering why Cedar Point would have it down for so long. I retract my comments, as I know they're putting pressure on the manufacturer and shipping company to get the part to them ASAP. -James Dillaman
  19. I don't think the new "family-oriented" six flags is going to put in any thrilling coasters soon. -james dillaman
  20. Hey, not everybody can handle the airtime of Magnum, only the hardcore airtime enthusiasts should ride the ejector seat. It isn't for younger enthusiasts or canadians (I'm only kidding, but yeah, my 3rd favorite steel coaster, so I gotta stick up for my Maggie!) -James Dillaman
  21. I hope the "Soggy Bottom Boys" Always wipe the seat when they're done... -James Dillaman
  22. I always think of the rerideability of a ride. If it's one that I'll ride once (Son of Beast) and not feel like I want to do it again, it won't rank highly at all on my list. If, however it's one I can ride again and again, such as MF or Raven, it would rank highly in my opinion. -James Dillaman
  23. Wow, I enjoy the emphasis on quality when it comes to the handwritten sign, though. You just don't see that kind of personal touch from six flags or cedar fair. -James Dillaman
  24. All I meant was this is the sort of thing I would have come to expect of a six flags park (not including lately as they've been better) but not from cedar fair. Hope that clears everything up. It would just be a shame to take someone up there who's NEVER been on MF and have it be down. How dissapointing... -James Dillaman
  25. well the color won't really matter when they build the enclosure for the entire ride, as it will all be pitch black anyway.
