  1. Dippie Doe is getting this one in particular; It's the one and only. I said that in the origonal post. I can't believe how shakey the loop is in the video. I was waiting for it to fall over.
  2. Malaboomer and Orange Stinger could definitely go, since the Zephyr and Tower of Terror are better than both of those. Carland sounds excellent; I really loved that movie. I hope Jumpin' Jellyfish stays. I always though the Mullholand Madness was a bit thrown together, since the ride was completely covered up by a large road map, instead of given an actual theme during the ride. I think a "Crush's Coaster" overhaul is in order.
  3. Didn't this just get locked?
  4. RCT3 Wild has a bizarre tower coaster that I origonally thought was a crude attempt a Euro-Fighter. As it turns out, this was the coaster they were emulating: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6ssxx7QZhw It used to operate on a fair circuit under the name "Cool and Fresh", but is now being built at the "DippieDoe" Amusemet park in The Netherlands. The ride itself seems a bit shaky, but is still a pretty cool concept. Will anyone be heading out to DippieDoe next summer to give it a whirl? Looking at the real version, compared to the RCT version, it looks like the RCT creators nailed it To those who play RCT3, this may look familiar.
  5. Seriously though, I lived Mean Streak! I rode it the summer of 2003, and I reminded me of a watered-down version of Ghostrider, which is my favorite coaster.
  6. ^ That's what he was getting at. He said a bit west of Geauga Lake, not a bit west of Dominator.
  7. ^ *Snickers*. You never know.
  8. HKDL is pretty small for a Magic Kingdom, but still pretty big for only being open for 2 years. The Autopia looks really well landscaped.
  9. The burned station looks cool. SF should have done this when they built Dominator to add to the theming (or lack there of).
  10. ^^ Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Good for them!!
  11. ^^ Didn't that happen at Astroworld and Camelot?
  12. They should only re-build the park if the levi is re-built.
  13. This is a cute park. i'm suprized its not owned by a themepark chain, like CF or PARC.
  14. The park re-model sounds so cute! I can't wait to see how it turnes out!
  15. Has anyone ridden a "Euro-Star" traveling coaster? It was mentioned in one of the earlier posts, and I'm wondering if they are even a good ride.
  16. I was thinking that to. It's like if the IAAPA had a perminent coaster showcase.
  17. I hardly consider coasters like the "SC"s wild mouse coasters. They are spinning coasters on a small scale, but don't really have too much in common with an average mouse. If these DK coasters were compact spinning coasters, then I would be a lot more impresed with Shapiro's decision.
  18. I think they should just scrap the Pictorium and build there.
  19. Technically, Geauga Lake is still operational, just coasterless. So it does count. Sorta... No, Geauga Lake is gone. "Wildwater Kingdom" is what is still open. I thoguht Prater Park was more of a coaster expo than an amusement park.
  20. ^ I know; it's totally crazy! You could build a massive amusement park built entirely out of the rides that GAd has discarded.
  21. Great Bear was having trouble when I went in 2005. It was down for one day, but it was open again the next day. Out of the coutless times I've been to Great America, I've never once wittnessed Top Gun or Vortex broken down
  22. Sounds like a lot of fun. I just hope it dosen't end up with "Twisted Twin" trains. *Prays that Mammoth with be equiped with next gen. G-Trains*
  23. With the exception of the ones that were liquidated, and the ones sitting in the boneyard, of course. Just look at Sky Pilot; it doesn't seem to be doing to well... ..After Before...
  24. ^^^ What I meant was "park with the most past coaster's that's still open". I don't GL count's, because they shut down, and they naturaly lost all of their coasters. Cedar Point may have closed 13, but CP has 103 years of operation over GAd, and 71 years of coaster building over GAd.
  25. ^^ Aside from MR, Turbine at Walibi Belgum, and the "Shuttle Loop" coasters at Nagashima Spa Land and Toshimaen are still in their origonal locations.
