  1. Totally love Sarah Silverman! Hot + Funny = I'd hit that.
  2. Looking forward to seeing what the coaster lineup will be.
  3. Wow this is the 1998 SFGAd off-season all over again, but on a smaller scale. I keep finding myself asking the same question over and over: "What the HELL is Six Flags Thinking?" It's like SF has become the world's largest broken phonograph record.
  4. ^ Well I suppose that as long as the rides origonal charm is preserved, then updating is O.K. I'm just glad that DL doesn't have a Fantasy land like Tokyo Disney; I really don't like the tent-theme.
  5. ...as part of a rip in the space time continuum, which caused all of the hot british porn stars to flash their boobs in public. Lou, at the time, was...
  6. Are you using some sort of a cheat code to get the Mega-coaster to do inversions? As far as internet downloading goes, I've only gotten as far as downloading new scenery.
  7. I've been playing RCT for 8 years now, leading all the way up to RCT3 Wild! For the first time, I'm going to show one of my creations to the world, as it slowly and carefully progresses. Big Cats' Big Thrills This will be one of the first true hybrid parks I’ve ever built. BCBT will feature a massive, tropical animal exhibit featuring 4 kinds of animals: Tigers, Lions, Panthers, and Leopards. A large flying coaster (name unknown) will emerge out of the side of the parks hilly landscape, and soar over the exhibit, giving the riders a bird's- eye view of the Big Cats as they fly by. A good half of the ride is underground, including the station, and there are two separate parts above ground. The park will feature one more roller coaster, which is a surprise, but a teaser of both coasters is featured below. The park will feature 3 rides total, including a safari-style trek through the Big Cats' Exhibit. There are 2 viewing galleries for the Big Cats' Exhibit, as well as some lovely accommodations. Opening day is not far off! Here's the only teaser for now, but the area hasn't been landscaped yet.
  8. ^^^I wish there was a way to tell the story of every rollercoasters that's ever been, so that they don't get lost in history. I submit to you an idea. I think you should build a really nice, custom themepark, built entirely out of rides that have left SFAGd. That's 13 rollecoasters, and handfull of wet/dry slides, a log flume, and countless flats. You seem up to the challenge, since you've created such a sound replica of the Chiller.
  9. ^ Really? I didn't know that. What did they look like before?
  10. ^ I just want these rides to be presrved the way they are. Some rides, like Pirates and Haunted Mansion, can still be classic and updated. Updating the Fantasyland "crawl-along" rides would be taking away from their classic charm. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them the way they are now.
  11. ^ These kinds of rides are supposed to be classic, not realistic. Updating them would ruin them
  12. ^ Very nice! I think the top hat and the boomarange could ba a bit taller, but other than that, it's great! The MTWE is a nice touch.
  13. ...Freshly grated parmesan cheese in an ornate ceramic bowl, a 60 gallon saltwater aquarium, and--*Elissa cuts in*--RODENTS!! A MILLION BILLION’S WORTH OF RODENTS.!!! And with that, the aquarium appeared out of thin air, occupied by two Clown Fish and a Blue Tang (appropriately named Marlin, Nemo, and Dori). Then , the bowl of cheese appeared at kidtum's feet, and then within a few more moments, oodles of rodents began falling from the sky in profusion...
  14. I'm an antisexual.
  15. ^^ No , I'm sorry, my mistake. Condor Flats is just getting re-named and tweaked a bit, to accomidate more crowds. There's concept are ton pg. 8 of the new, more lush Condor Flats area.
  16. Wooooo! Yay for Dominatryx at KD!
  17. ^ I second that. Compared to MGM in 1999 VS. DCA in 2001, DCA is the clear winner. DCA has twice the rides as MGM, but with more to see.
  18. Well said. Personally, now that I know the park will be fixed, I have absolutely no reason to scrutinize it anymore. Not that I ever disliked the park, but I always thought there was just way too much room in between attractions, and then an explosion of rides in the back of the park. It really made no sense. However, with the removal of Condor Flats, and with the addition of Carsland and Little Mermaid, the dead space between rides will be significantly reduced. I have a massive souvineer map of the park durring its first season. I think its apreaceating in value every second...
  19. I just finished reading the whole story of the ride. Everything from the removal of the Li'l Wheel, to the removal of the ride itself. So much effort and will power went into this ride. So much hype and excitement. Now its all gone. 10 years from now, the new generation will have know knowledge of its existence, and will have followed in the footsteps of Shockwave, Viper, Lightnin' Loops, and so many others before it. It's a painfully gruesome shame
  20. Basically, a ride held up by cables at a carnival screams "potentialy unsafe". Cables used by coasters at actual parks are just re-enforcement. Lots of woodies (I.E. Kentucky Rumbler) use cables on their fan turns too.
  21. I really like California Adventure, but I have no desire to return until this remodel is complete. The first time I went, I was there the summer it opened, and I LOVED IT!!! I rode Malaboomer, Jumpin' Jellyfish, and California Screamin' so many times. Orange Stinger was fun, but its a bit random for the area. Zephyr was really good, but kind of a slow loader. Muppets and Bug's World were both really great, and Grizzly River Rampage was MUCH better than Kali, but didn't live up to Splash Mountain. California Screamin' quickly became one of the best coasters I'd ever been on, and the airtime on Malaboomer when you're 9 is almost too much. Jellyfish was totally fun, but a bit on the short side, but Soarin' was phenomenal! I somehow managed to get lost in the wilderness obstacle course. Mulholland Madness was in the middle of it's instant closure after the park opened, so I missed out. All in all, I had a really great time! The second time I went, not much had changed, but it was only 2 or 3 years later. It was just me and my dad, and we rode everything once. Mulholland was a first for both of us, and we both hated it. It's just as rough and painful as any other wild mouse of its kind. We basically went back and fourth between Malaboomer and California Screamin' for the rest of the day, and left feeling like we never needed to go back. The last time I went was in 2005. The addition of Tower of Terror was a big plus, and was an awesome ride, but was a slow loader. Everything else was still the same, but I still had a really great time, and managed to enjoy spending a whole lot of time at the park, despite the lack of rides. I was really able to sit back and relax, and calmly go about my day with some friends, without worrying about running out of time. Unfortunately, I forget to visit A Bug's Land, but I'm sure its very charming. All of the new additions sound great! The new main street excites me the most, and I'm very eager to see how it turns out. The Little Mermaid replacing the theatre is a welcome change. I never once set foot an that theatre, and never cared to. The ride sounds very cute, and will help fill the void of Fantasyland style rides in the park. Carsland is ingenious. I totally loved that movie, and I really can't wait to see it when it's finished. The racing ride is the long-awaited compensation for the disaster of Rocket Rods, and will hopefully be worth the wait. Having ridden Rocket Rods, I can say that I really loved the ride, but I hated the down time and the outrageous long lines. The other two rides in Carsland look great too. Toy Story looks like a lot of fun, and I love the theme of the ride being so tied in with both the movie, and the theme of the area. The new carnival game concepts, and well as Mulholland's new concept, all look really great. The removal of Condor Flats makes too much sense. As long as the re-rout the entrance of GRR, nothing of that area will be missed. Soarin' and the obstacle course were both at either end of that area, and there was nothing else in between besides GRR. Removing that area is a really good Idea, and will eliminate all of the space between rides. There's no part of this re-model that I don't love.
  22. So much better. I never thought that the current entrance under-delivered, but this is over the top!
