  1. ^ I rode it father's day of 2000. It was the first and last time for me. Vortex @ KI, on the other hand, was not very rough at all, IMHO.
  2. ^ You could have at least posted a picture with a ride in it. Who can geuss this one?
  3. Viper @ SFMM WTF? Why hasn't this ride been torn down yet. It hurts like hell. The park has similar rides that are much better. WTF is it still doing open? Tear it down. Ninja @ SFOG See: Viper @ SFMM Superman @ SFMM WTF? massive, finicky, eyesore, paperweight with terrible capacity and an extreme lack of theme. Get it open or get it out. Space Mountain @ DWMK WTF? Super-slow indoor wild mouse who's counterpart in Anaheim puts it to shame. Not enough theming during the actual ride. Gut it and re-build. Mulholland Madness WTF? If I wanted a broken hip, I would have rather been in a car accident. Much rougher than other mice. way too much abrupt breaking. This ride deserves to be good. Wild Mouse @ Dorney See: Mulholland Madness Grizzly @ CGA WTF? Slow and rough: a winning combination. There will be absolutely no reason for this ride to be in existence after 2008.
  4. ...make a pilgrimage to Paris Hilton's house to learn how to be brainless imbeciles. Paris was offended about the zombies quest for stupidity, so she snached the rifle from out from underneath her bed and ran out to shoot the zombies from her door step. As she began to run down the stairs to the front door, she tripped over Tinkerbell and fell face first down the stars. As she fell, her finger slipped on the rifle's trigger and she shot herself through the brain. When the zombies arrived at Paris's house, they decided to...
  5. By nukeing Universal Studios into oblivion. The readiation cause.
  6. I wonder what "Fun" tastes like.
  7. ...A racoon named Squiggles, who shoots pixie dust out his bung hole... (If you watch ROBOT CHICKEN, you'll get it).
  8. Well, I didn't see this coming! Personally, I think it has yet to be seen wether or not its worth pouring 10 million into SF's most notorious of money pits. On the other hand, this could be the next best alternative to a "new" rollercoaster at MM. I have to give Shapiro credit for trying to give character to this uninspired heap of technology. X might be a wonderful feat of coaster dynamics, but the ride has nothing more to it than that can be described on a fact sheet. No theme or origonality what so ever (outside of the ride's mechanisms). I hope this remodel will take the ride from "Technological Metal Mess" to "1 Of A Kind Experience" status. EDIT: I just read about the new color scheme. I feel like black and red is definetly the most fiting for a coaster this intense. Pink and yellow; what the HELL were they thinking?
  9. ^ Sorry. Crushed Melon was discontinued. It didn't even show up in our last order sheet.
  10. *Flys to Orlando for the IAAPA* SWEET!
  11. ...A genetically enhanced Shamu erupted out of Sea World SanAntonio and attacked Texas Adventure for being to close to his park. Shamu barfed radioactive fish giblets that rained over the park in profusion. The park was forced to shut down until...
  12. hehe. From coasters to conditioner: Schwartzkopf! Why the hell are the Superman cars yellow?
  13. *sigh* I knew this day would come fore tree reasons. 1: Generally Unreliable ride. 2: SFOG. 3: Chiller. It wasn't until I rode Deja Vu at SFMM before I realized that all three of these rides' days were numbered. I rode it during it's inaugural summer of 2001 (shocker!), and I knew as soon as we walked up, that the ride wouldn't last. Huge line. Outrageously loud. Visibly shaky. I knew I was in for something gnarly. We waited in line for 2 1/2 hours in the hot sun. It was cool because we got to wait in part of Shockwave's old queue; Magic Mountain is super lazy about removing things like that, I guess. There was/are tented areas of queue, so the conditions weren't so bad. For some reason, it seemed like the line was moving faster than the coaster was loading. For every 2 or 3 times we moved up, the ride would do only one curcit. It was nice to watch in all its fury as it roared back and fourth. It broke down 2 or 3 times in line, but managed to get itself running again rather quickly each time. We eventually got on the ride and started the climb up the back spike. At this point, I realized that this would likely be the most violent coaster experience I've endured so far. The ride dropped from the tower and rolled into its loopy bits so fast, I couldn't belive it. Then we went up the second spike, which was also quite scary, and did the whole thing again. What a ride. It wasn't rough at all. Smooth as B&M. Alas, I knew the ride was not meant to be. A lot of the other riders were either pissed about the line, pissed about the ride itself, of pissed about a combination of the two. I though it was spectacular, and easily one of the scariest rides ever. Who ever said this was anything like Invertigo is totally wrong. It felt nothing like it at all, really. Anyways, since that experience, i've always figured that the end is near for this wicked ride.Thinking that MM's Vu is not next in line is rather naive.
  14. ^ That wasn't a parking lot. It was just....a....lot...I guess. It's pretty close, but not the same. Besides, the ride's been nothing close to a parking lot coaster since 1991. Does "Dispach Master Transport" ring a bell?
  15. ^The area behind the Sky Flyer screams "BUILD A GIANT ROLLERCOASTER HERE!". I hope you're right. Also, it could mean either A: Grizzly will get retracked and restored to a good ride, or B:Grizzly will still get torn down, for the next big addition. Any way, its a win win win situation.
  16. ^ CP has never built a parking lot coaster. I doubt they'll start now.
  17. I wouldn't be suprized if Saturator left. Rollersoaker at Hershey has terrible capacity, and if this is anything like it, then I'm sure it has the same problem.
  18. I love Riptide! It was awesome. Sure, it's not a drunken German's nightmare, but its still lots of fun. PGA deserves a Top Spin and a new woodie, but does anyone know anything about the placement of these rides? Naturally, the new woodie is going in place of Grizzly, but I'm not sure about the TS. My guess is that it will go where Triple Play was (I STILL can't belive PGA closed it), or over where Tidal Wave's entrance was. I wouldn't be suprized if it's replacing a low ridership flat, like Beserker or Centrafuge.
  19. I think you guys need to cut CGA some slack. Sure, they've made some poor decisions, but everything is going to turn around. The park still has several good rides. In my opinion, Vortex and Demon are good, while Psycho Mouse, Top Gun, adn Invertigo are all very good. Anyone with CGA as their home park is better off than most people, like myself, who don't have any sort of amusement park for 2+ hours in any direction.
  20. I don't think that looks much like Dominator, but its a nice representation.
  21. An amusement park NEEDS to build one of those LIM Zac Spins. They look excellent!
  22. ^ No kidding. We had a 0 mins Fast Pass that took 30 mins from the entrance to the ride itsel. All we had to wait in was the boiler room.
  23. KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!! I just want to hug 5 dozen puppies right now!!!!!!
