I don't trust Sky Swats. Being up 100ft, looking straight down and being held in by a lapbar isn't fun.. The OTSR's do bugger all as you can slip down and under them! The rapids ride looks pretty fun actually!

Agreed! I went there 3 years ago. Great fun and the waterpark has some great slides. The double dingy hurts though.. Slamming onto the bottom after the drop... You should be prepared to the event of thunderstorms. Especially up in Riva as it get's quite mountainous there. I stayed in Riva 3 years ago and it's a really nice place! You can actually get a boat to Gardaland, although it takes about 2 hours to get up the lake on one of the bigger boats.. There is a hydrofoil that runs around the area but I don't think it runs al lthe way up to Riva.. Kinda why: If you are looking at getting to Gardaland you will definately need a car or a bus. There are no trains that run up to Riva. The park itself.. Wowness. If it isn't raining while you are there the place is amazing. Just don't queue for the 4D cinema... It's a waste of time.

*looks out of window*... Yep raining here. Why am I not suprised... I'm not really suprised that the rain is quite heavy there. You often get very heavy thunderstorms around there as you get down towards the equator.

This ride just look wrong to me... It's not a coaster.. But it's not exactly a conventional flat ride... Ugh it's gonna be painful though. I don't like Disk-o seats. They give me back ache. And with a hill...

The Roper's actually moved in way before Alton Towers got popular. I could understand the whole noise issue if you could actually here it from outside the park.. You seriously can't hear Oblivion at the entrance! And their house is futher away.

I love that picture of Kumba in that odd bit of track! And i'm always amazed by Skeikra's size. It's so much bigger than Oblivion looks. And the immelman is just whopping!

I steer clear of all fat-fried foods. I'm trying to avoid a heart-attack at 40. I do go to Pizza Hut quite a bit though. I normally end up having a refillable plate of salad/pasta + spaghetti bolognese or lasange though. Subway is the way to go. Fresh gorgeous sandwiches. I recommend the Chicken and Bacon ranch.

I hope they improve on the cinema. Is it the one tat is underground? I found it to be a long wait and a disappointment. But Gardaland rocks! If you don't catch it during a rain-storm..

Well I don't think there is a huge risk unless you breed chickens or something.. Still if I see a bird from now on i'm going to make it fly for it's life!

This looks might impressive. The only fault I can find is that the whole thing is very symmetrical. There needs to be variation around the hotel edges and not just one style. I know in alot of real life hotels it is the same al lthe way around. But when you look at them you aren't really that impressed. Can't wait to see some rides coming up.

Hmm safe... Skeikra does look impressive and the extra row must throw up alot of airtime. I think it's amazing to think that the first drop is just that bit bigger than Oblivions. Alton really dug a huge hole for it! And with the huge pull up still give's 4.5G's.

Well y'know if it doesn't have Thorpe Park in the title... *ahem* I've watched the odd few events and saw the Skeleton Bob today.. Christ I would never do anything like that. How people get into an event like that is beyond me. Congrats to Shelley for our silver medal.
