  1. I flippin' LOVE that shot of Mine Ride's track. Would you mind sending a full resolution version so I can use it for my wallpaper? If not, it's all good. I totally understand.
  2. Awesome... I can't believe Biz Markie was actually there. That's amazing! It looks and sounds like you guys had a great time! This has nothing to do with Yo Yo Gabba Gabba, but I bought this shirt from my work. Nobody Beats The Biz!
  3. I was thinking the same thing! Doesn't make very much sense to me. Especially for people that just wanna relax in the river and can't cause they'll get dumped into the wave pool. Either way, this is a great addiction to the park.
  4. "Poynt" for Blackberry. I use it for my Storm, but I would assume it's available other Blackberry's as well. It's such a handy app. I seriously use it every time that I travel. You can type in ANY type of business that you want to find and it gives you a bunch of locations starting with the location nearest to you. You can also search for people, and movies. It uses the GPS built in the phone. It shows the distance between you and the location, the address, and the phone number. It also lets you call the place right from the application which is handy so you don't have to mess around trying to find a pen and paper. Check it out. It's free!
  5. This is awesome! I've always wanted to give cake decorating a try. I have a friend who is thinking about opening a custom cake shop and I told her that she HAS to hire me. Looking forward to the rest of your handy cake making updates.
  6. I don't have a photo of just the sign, but here is a photo of Shipwreck Falls station from Six Flags America that has the sign on it. Hope this works for you!
  7. FYI: To save someone a wasted trip, I got the Mikestery Treasure Hunt card from the Clinton Township Jeeper's. I'll post a picture tomorrow.
  8. The first 5 photos load for me, then I just see the file names of the rest. I'm really excited to check this installment out. Pirates of the Caribbean was always my favorite when I was a little kid. I haven't ridden it since 1986, so it's nice to re-spark some memories!
  9. Hey Big Mike! I see you are doing Jeepers in Clinton Township and Jeepers in Southfield on October 30th when you come to MI. I was just wondering if that date is set in stone and if you have any idea about what time you would be at either of them? I would love to meet up and say hello. I'm trying to figure out scheduling out at work and wanna make sure that I set myself up. Thanks, Brian
  10. This was awesome to listen to. I sat here with a pen and paper and took notes like I was in class, haha. Some of the things talked about made me feel a lot more comfortable about going, as I was pretty nervous. Wait... who am I kidding? I am still pretty damn nervous! I'm bummed that I wasn't able to make it to the live version, but this was still great to listen to. Thanks Robb & Elissa!
  11. Ready, GO! The Big Mike Road Show is ready The Big Mike Road Show is smooth The Big Mike Road Show will take control And stomp all over you! I have a couple questions for you Big Mike... 1. Do you plan on doing one of TRP trips next year? Mainly the Mainland Europe, or the UK Tour? 2. Do you have any plans set in stone for when you come to Michigan this month?
  12. This does look a bit kinky, but what's up with the dude in the truck dragging the trees down the road? Haha... I've been so busy with work and school that I haven't been able to keep up with everything on TPR. I finally had some time to go back through all your reports. They are awesome as usual! I would love to live somewhere like that, where you always have different things to see and do.
  13. Here we go fellow BMRS Show Stopper Cheer Leaders! Watch out, step back, The Big Mike Road Show is on attack He's strong, powerful, dominating and bold Remember, only champions wear GOLD! Zzzzing!
  14. They put the Shoot the Rapids Webcam up for our viewing pleasure, although there is not much to look at right now. Check it out HERE!
  15. If you want something simple to do and not too expensive... just bake a few circular cakes and cut them in half. Then lay them so the flat part is on the bottom, and the rounded part is on the top and put them together for the effect of hills. Kind of like this. With any effort at all you can make it look WAY better than that thing, though. If you want it look nice you can take pieces and carve them to fit between the large pieces for smooth transitions. You can then take the little cake piping things and draw supports on the sides of the cake, as well as track on the top. I have done it, and it turned out pretty cool. I used a Twinkie for the coaster train. Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures of it at all.
  16. We heard it through the grapevine, that you think your team is tough. But when you're up against The Big Mike Road Show, tough is not enough! Hayoooo!
  17. ^ Nah... You're not crazy. I was there a couple weeks ago as well and Wolverine Wildcat was running really well. Shivering Timbers on the other hand, ouch! I used to LOVE that thing, but it was crazy rough when I rode it a few weeks ago.
  18. AWESOME! I remember being so bummed when they removed the Mill Race. Then the recent loss of White Water Landing Happened. I am SUPER excited to have another Shoot the Rapids ride back at CP! I am not very excited that it looks as if you will get completely soaked though, but I'll deal with it. I really hope that the bottom of the second drop ends up looking kinda like Poseidon at Europa or Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at USO. It looks like it has the potential to if they use all of those rocks the right way.
  19. The Big Mike Road Show is back again. Comin' prepared and ready to win. He won't be defeated and he won't be outdone. 'Cause The Big Mike Road Show is number one! HOORAHHHH!!! P.S. Great update, Big Mike! Looks like you guys had an awesome time. You're a lucky guy to be able to do all that you do.
  20. Hey Big Mike, Count me in as a Big Mike Road Show "Show" Stopper Cheerleader. I volunteer myself to be one of the guys that hold the girls above their heads. It's a rough job, but someones gotta do it!
  21. I don't know too much about the area, but if you're not staying right in D.C., you should check this place out. Radisson Hotel Largo-Washington D.C. 9100 Basil Court, Largo, MD, 20774 Phone:(301) 773-0700 www.radisson.com/hotels/mdlargo That is where I stayed when I was in the area. I booked it through Hotwire for $62 a night. I'd say it's probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in too. It is right down the street from Fedex Field. It is also only about 9 miles from downtown D.C. and only 4 miles to Six Flags America. I had no problems at all driving in to downtown D.C. and back to the hotel at all either. Just a suggestion. Have fun!
