  1. WOW! That duck is hard for me to see! Being color blind, that thing just blends in with everything. The old ducky stuck right out for me. I'm gonna have to save my guess for when I get out of work and have more time to sit and stare at each picture, and just hope that 50 people don't guess by then.
  2. This was sounding like the perfect dream till I read "Gator Wrestling"! Count me out!
  3. Nice TR so far! Looking forward to the rest. I really liked Dollywood. I couldn't agree more with you on the Ferris Wheel thing! Actually, I'm fine on the larger ones with the big buckets. It's the little bench style one's like the one at Dollywood that kill me!
  4. I just got off the phone with BGE. It turns out that you do not get any of the $45.00 (plus tax!) back from the electric scooter rentals. That's outrageous to me! Anyways, it looks like I will be pushing, pulling, weaving, and heaving my Mom around the park in a wheelchair for 2 days, cause there's no way in hell I'm spending $90.00 (plus tax!) on top of all the other expenses. cfc - My Mom can not ride any coasters, as she has had open heart surgery and a plethora of other health problems, so I will not have to worry about the handicapped access to the coasters. Thanks for the heads up though! I found a Days Inn Historic Williamsburg on Bypass Rd. Is that still going to be near all of the touristy stuff? It says it is about 1 mile from Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf. netdvn - I have a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass, and my Mom will have one soon as well, so the tickets would be no good for me. Thanks for the offer!
  5. AWESOME! Thanks a bunch guys! I can dig Lady GaGa, and Metallica. I just love music! Thelegendarymatthew- They'll have as hard as you want or can even think of. I guarantee it. Dig around on there. You'll be surprised at some of the obscure things that are on there. I'm always getting surprised! Thanks again for supporting me, Big Mike! I really appreciate it.
  6. Those definitely were some hot babes, and my hands were sweating just looking at the photos of the rides, haha. You're a lucky man! Looks like you had a blast! P.S. Thanks a TON for supporting my contest! You never cease to amaze!
  7. Another great Photo TR from you! I absolutely loved Indiana Beach as well. It has such a unique feel to it, and I thought the whole park was very photogenic. I got some nice night shots from the top of the ferris wheel. I remember thinking how great Cornball Express was. I was not expecting it to be that much fun. I'm pretty sure that I was almost flung right out of that Galaxi coaster. I loved Tig'rr as well. Those low to the ground turns at high speeds are super fun! If Misty loved that, she must ride Whizzer at SFGAm, if she hasn't already. Again, another great TR, and thanks for sharing!
  8. I never realized there was that much to the Manhattan Express.
  9. I've been curious about the DiCAPac's. Has anyone had any problems with them interfering with the shutter button on their camera, or preventing you from changing settings?
  10. Police Academy: The Stunt Show... I would have loved to see that! Thanks for sharing all of this amazing memorabilia. It's great to see.
  11. Well... I've booked some hotels, and have done a little more planning and research. It is crazy to me that in order to rent an electric cart (Amigo) at BGE, we will have to spend $45.00 a day. That's $90.00 on top of parking and tickets. That just seems ridiculous! Does anyone know if you get any of it back when you return the cart? Also, do you think that I could get away with pushing my Mom in a wheelchair around BGE, or any of the other parks to help save money? Another question that I have is where to book our hotel in Williamsburg? I don't care where we are at the other parks, cause we will pretty much just be sleeping, then leaving the next morning. Plus, I already have the others booked. In Williamsburg though, we are going to be there for 3 days and if possible, we would like to be in a well populated touristy area near a lot of restaurants and attractions. Especially any Putt-Putt Golf places, as we both love Putt-Putt! If you don't have a specific hotel suggestion, I'd be happy with just a general area suggestion. Thanks again for all the help everyone!
  12. That's what they get for putting Cedar Point on an island!
  13. ^ It is sinking! That's what happened to the cable. Some of the ground under MF started to sink causing the structure to twist, in turn putting extra tension on the cable causing it to snap!
  14. Another great TR, Electerik! I think your TR's may just be my favorite. They always have a quirkiness about them, and you always seem to get shots that you usually never see in other TR's. Thanks for sharing! I see where you're coming from about Maverick. I used to not like it as well, but for some reason last year I just ended up loving the damn thing! I think it's because I decided to hold on and not let myself get slammed around. I also agree with your thoughts on Millennium Force. While it's not my #1 steel, I would definitely put it somewhere in my top 5. Thanks again for sharing! P.S. I still have that awesome photo that you took of Tennessee Tornado set as my desktop background.
  15. I don't know if I have a current favorite, or an idea of an under-rated dark ride, but I just want to say that I used to absolutely LOVE the Pirate Ride at Cedar Point. I was super bummed when they took it out! I think about it every time I walk over to Blue Streak, and I make sure to walk through the piece of the big ship that was left behind.
  16. ^ Dude... you are one lucky kid! Congratulations on your super rare, and awesome new credits!
  17. Big Mike, that was the best TR EVER! I'm super jealous that you guys got to ride. It looks like you guys had a blast! It's so awesome that you guys were able to ride and meet John, and have it all documented while doing so. This has been one of, if not my favorite installments of TBMRS! Thanks again Big Mike!
  18. Congrats, Big Mike! What a well deserved honor! I'm SUPER excited to see your TR from John Ivers! Brian (Off to change his TBMRS Banner URL!) Raymond
  19. You've got some awesome photos here! Thanks a lot for sharing.
  20. ^ Haha, it's all good! I appreciate any and all tips. I would definitely plan on Conneaut Lake Park if Blue Streak was up and running. I technically have an extra day, so if it is up and running by then, I may just add it on. I hit up Waldameer last summer. Ravine Flyer II was amazing!
  21. The plans are finalized! Now all I have to do is book hotels. The plans look like this... June 19th - Leave MI very early and stop at Camden Park, WV for a few hours June 20th - Carowinds, NC June 21st - Drive to Williamsburg, VA June 22nd - Busch Gardens Europe, VA June 23rd - Busch Gardens Europe, VA again June 24th - Kings Dominion, VA June 25th - Six Flags America, MD June 26th - Lakemont & Idlewild in PA June 27th - Finish the drive home June 28th - Rest before I head back to work the next day. BOOO! Any tips for Hotels? (i.e. cheapest, best, favorites)
  22. Big Mike, I'm SOOO jealous that you got to ride Blue Too! We have tried contacting John a few times while we were down that way for Holliwood Nights, but never had any luck. I'm not sure how long he has had Blue Too up and running, but I was at least hoping to be able to take a spin on Blue Flash. Congratulations! What did you think of Voyage? P.S. I have a huge favor to ask of you. If you get some spare time, please check out this thread that I started. We are having a contest at my work and I'm trying everything possible to win, haha! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50764
