  1. Mine is taking forever to download. Please don't take it down yet!
  2. Alkaline Trio -or- Between The Buried And Me It's a toss up!
  3. Well... my MySpace url has a bad word in it. I couldn't get the URL button to work right for me, so I guess you can just click on my website link
  4. This! Hahaha... I got a good laugh out of this! I voted TPR in all 3 categories. Coaster Fanatics and RCDB got my other votes. If the category didn't include any of the above 3, I didn't vote. TPR for the win! P.S. I just re-read Guy's comment. I'm still laughing. I guess it's so funny to me because I used to waste time arguing with people on there all the time. Key word "waste".
  5. I guessed 7! I know that my vote doesn't count anymore, but it was still fun playing along! Congrats on reaching 200 pages Big Mike! I'm pumped to see what the next 200 bring.
  6. This is exciting! I can't wait for my DVD's to arrive! I absolutely LOVE the first RAW DVD, and I'm sure this one will be no different. While I don't think that Mystery Mine is a top 10 coaster, it was still fun and interesting enough for me to ride it 6 times during my visit! The theming is awesome. I really love the last lift hill and drop and all the effects that take place during it.
  7. I really wish that I was still in the running's. It's still fun to play along though. I have my guess written down on a piece if paper next to my computer. The next time I'm at Silver Dollar City, that damn Thunderation sign is going down!
  8. This thread is awesome! Good luck with your Wii Fit journey, Robb! I too, am trying to lose about 30 pounds. Except, I just want to lose it by next spring. So I have quite a bit more time. I really wish that I could afford a Wii, but that just isn't going to happen anytime soon. I have to resort to the ancient weight loss system called running. What a bummer! Dear Chocolate, Please leave me alone!
  9. Really? That's too bad. I'm sure plenty of people here would have liked to see it. The goal of these contests is for everyone to have fun doing some coaster related stuff during the off season. If everyone just gives up as soon as one person submits a really good one, what's the point of doing these? Perhaps future contests I should have people just email them to me directly instead of posting them? So that people won't get discouraged and just give up? Seriously, should I just close this now? Is that REALLY what people think I should do!?!? --Robb "I personally enjoy seeing ALL the entries!" Alvey NO, NO, NO... I was totally joking! I didn't even really open Photoshop in the first place. I was just exaggerating to let everyone know how good I thought Shane's entry was. I guess I should have put some winking smilies or something with my post. I LOVE when these contests get started. I love seeing all of the entries that come in. I do not think that you should close this contest, nor do I think that you should have people e-mail you their entries for future contests. This stuff is fun! P.S. Sorry for quoting the whole posts.
  10. Shane definitely wins this one! No need to even submit any others. It can't be topped. I closed Photoshop half way through my edit. Amazing job, Shane!
  11. ^ Both of the coasters that are on the list from Little Amerricka do not have signs either.
  12. Dammit! I knew I should have ventured over there when I was in Orlando in January. What a bummer!
  13. Haha... awesome update once again Big Mike! I wish I would have had time to visit the zoo when I was at Como Town. Was it free to get in? I saw that there was a donation taker at the park entrance, but I didn't see any separate entrance for the zoo when I was there. I just assumed it was free. I'm curious as to what the costumes that couldn't be shown were like. They must be pretty risque, cause a couple of the ones that you posted are pretty... non existent, haha!
  14. You are very welcome! Would you like some photos of the Python Pit coaster at Jeepers in Auburn Hills, MI? I have some photos that I took back in 2005.
  15. You are very welcome, Big Mike! I was pretty surprised to see it open as well. It was super cold the night that I rode it. They told me that they don't know how much longer they will keep it open this season. I told you that I loved the Big Mike Road Show! I don't remember if I ever told you, or if you ever got a chance to check it out, but the BMRS inspired me to do my first ever TR. If you haven't seen it, check it out HERE if you get a chance. I'm looking forward to meeting you at some point in 2009 Big Mike! Reality15... I actually meant to post the prices. I guess it slipped my mind. It is $6.00 for 1 ride. They have a few different multi-attraction bracelets that you can purchase though to make things a bit cheaper. They have Putt-Putt Golf, Bumper Boats, Go Carts, and Lazer Tag as well... but you can use the multi-attraction bracelets to ride the Serpent multiple times. If you plan on making a trip to ride it this year, I would suggest calling to make sure that they still have it open.
  16. I updated the Serpent @ Kokomo's thread with some new photo's of the coaster all completed, and of course of the trains and sign, if you would like to use them now for the Park Index.
  17. The Serpent has finally opened as mrkokomo said it would in a previous post. I stopped at Kokomo's on Saturday night 11/1/08 to take a ride and snap a couple photos. It was a super cold night, and I was the only person there to ride it. I talked to the kid who was running it for about 30 minutes. He was super nice and was filling me in on the history of the coaster (which I already knew), but it was still cool to talk about. It's nothing special, but it's still a roller coaster that's only about 10 minutes from my apartment, and pretty much right across the street from where I work. I think it is a nice family coaster, and a perfect fit for Kokomo's. If you're ever in the area, please stop in to Kokomo's and take a spin. Here are a few photos that I took. The first 2 were taken in September. The last 5 were taken on Sunday 11/1. Sorry for the poor quality. I had my crappy point & shoot with me. Here I am in the front seat waiting for my first ride. The kid working was nice enough to snap a photo for me. I feel like an ass for not remembering his name.
  18. I did a Photo:TR back in August that has some photos in it that you guys are looking for from Wisconsin and Minnesota. It also has some photos of The Screaming Dragon from a park called Como Town in St.Paul, MN that isn't listed at all. Here is a link to the TR. Hopefully this works for you. If you are not able to use the photos from the TR, let me know and I'll upload them through the Park Index. Photo TR: 6 Parks in Wisconsin and Minnesota! August 2nd-5th Here is another link that has photos of the Serpent at Kokomo's Family Fun Center in Saginaw, MI, which is also not listed in the Park Index. I'm going to update this one tonight with photo's of the sign and the whole coaster. It did indeed open up on Halloween, and I was able to go ride it. Serpent Roller Coaster at Kokomo's in Saginaw, Michigan. MOD EDIT: thanks I used some of your Nick Universe photos and created the Como Page. We will get around to adding Kokomo's in the future. larrygator
  19. Every CP closing day that I have been to has never been very busy. I will also be there tomorrow.
  20. OMG!!! Dual lift hills! I knew it was going to be a racing B&M Hyper! (Just in case you missed the first one.)
  21. HAHAHAHA... Awesome Big Mike! We're you nervous? Jay was kind of making fun of you for riding coasters. People just don't understand. That was AWESOME! I love Jay Leno, and I love The Big Mike Road Show! This was perfect! P.S. I kept trying to spot you in the audience with the oh so famous yellow BMRS tee, but I see you had normal civilian clothes on.
