People seem to think they may go on sale again next week. Not sure if they are limiting capacity more, or if sales are just out of control. The event is sold out tonight and I've hear Express is sold out for tonight and tomorrow already. I'm also heard folks have been able to purchase multi-tickets by phone and the desks in the hotels on property today.

Sometimes we have 60-70 degrees for Xmas, other years there a dusting of snow and it's freezing. Hard to tell. For the most part winters are mild here until January. Even then it's generally not bad. ACE event in Dec a couple years ago. Beginning of ERT they said, "Hurry because we have to shut down LR if it drops another degree." Luckily it stayed 36 and we got the whole hour of rides. -

I think it's more a sign of how bad people are at cancelling recurring payments. This is why every company in the world wants you on a monthly payment and buying gift cards now days. -

Just to follow up here. Appears one park is now offering the lump sum option. Ex here is gold pluss for ~$84 via monthly or $230 in one payment. -

I'm skipping passes and memberships for now. I don't have a home park really, so I'll use my current pass til it ends. Then when I visit another SF park at some point in time, I'll probably get whatever the cheapest membership is at that point. Cancel at 12 months, take the free months or discounted rate offer, then repeat again. -

Not sure all SF did this or will do it again, but when they had pay up front for the memberships they were ~ double the monthly price. I think I'll just set a calendar event and cancel after a year if I need to. I've cancelled memberships in the past with no problems. -

Had my first visit here today. We had a great day. Loved the park. Museum and folks in there were great. Cornball front row is so much fun. Rode back once, front several times. Lost Coaster is a trainwreck but super interesting and unique. Steel Hawg was better than I thought it would be. Fascination was a ton of fun. My first Jetstar was awesome. I've been dying to ride a Jetstar model of some sort. Loved it. Hope to be back in a year to ride eveything again along with the triple looper. Still more than half the pieces seem to still need paint. It's still just the one loop and part of another erected so far. -

Website indicates Fury 325 will not run during Scarowinds. Good move or bad move? Dont worry, Hurler will be open. -

Just got an email from six flags. It let me know that season passes will be going on sale next week but to not buy them from the website like normal. For being a current season pass holder I will get a special offer delivered no later than Thursday of next week. Huh. Interested to see what is offered. -

New motor installed on Skyrush last night. Park is hoping to have it open in the next week or two.
