Night one of Coaster Rodeo was fun. The 2 haunted houses were good. Everyone was having fun. Tomorrow a lot of tours and full park ERT to end the day. Also, rumors are strong they will announce a new coaster at 3pm to the Rodeo group. Hope it's true. Also, can I say it's great seeing the park president and brass riding rides today? Jeff was in seat 7 on WW having a good time. Others riding Iratt tonight as well.

Wonder if that will carry over to Dollywood. I liked the crazy Wonderful Life show they do.

People really think Dollywood might get a giga? That seems laughable to me. Would be cool, but I don't see that happening.

Storm Runner testing has started today.

It includes all rides that do Timesaver (coasters, etc). LR is included. Blazing Fury is not.

Kennywood adding days back and going to 7 days a weeks soon (if not now). Expanded hours expected soon. Good to hear.

Both of those guys are crushing it. Love to see it.

I'm all for letting Jeff run the entire Six Flags corp at this point.

Sad news tonight with a unfortunate event on the Voyage. You can check HW's social (Holiwood nights group). Out of respect to the injured, Voyage is closed tonight. Sad news indeed. Update: Unfortunately, it appears the guest did not survive.

New hotel looks great. Lots of jobs for the area, too. I'm all for it.

Fireworks usually make it easy to get out of the park while everyone stands or sits around watching them.

KI fans revolted when they tried that last year. They quickly changed back.

I prefer Cedar Point. But, I prefer the ease that Kings Island offers most days. It's hard at CP to have a day of mostly walk-ons with FL. Rarely a problem at Kings Island. The Haunt nights with FLs are great at KI. Not cheap, but a ton of fun.

New hamster wheel coaster now open in Myrtle beach.

They make it sound like the 3pm entry was in some way connected to TB being down. But it was posted days before it actually went down. Looking forward to a great weekend.
