  1. I ride everything once so I don't blame you. Knock it out first and you're good. If you are a credits person, the kids coaster Flying Ace or whatever can get a fairly decent line and not on FP. Might be really crowded. Those people are loyal fans and show up beginning of the season and Halloween time. They are usually really hard on req a kid for the small kids coaster if you looking to ride it. Woodstock Express is not on FP.
  2. Good luck with or without a Fast pass. I think any planning here is overthinking it. First Friday of the season...take whatever is opened. And, hope for decent weather. Just as likely to be 35 as it is 70 that time of year. It's not a huge park. It's a big circle. Hit Nighthawk first if you really want to ride that POS. 99% of the time FL makes everything a walk on.
  3. Groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday. They are also going to stream it. Let's go! This thing looks awesome.
  4. If I was gambling I'd bet on BGT doing the same type of thing and schedule for IG.
  5. Will this park follow recent SF guidelines that allow gay people inside and allow them to show affection? They work that out with the government already?
  6. You guys act like someone has died on this thing. Geez.
  7. Hate to take sides, but SFoG to the airport is fairly quick. You are on the bypass the entire time and don't really get near the city. With typical traffic, it's quicker from the airport to SFoG b/c it's just 285/20 than getting over to Fun Spot and all those back roads.
  8. Another top tier show is the muppets improv during Knott's Scary Farm. 1000x better than I expected when we sat down. Cool to see them work, too.
  9. That's it. They even mix parts up for the seasons. There's a Halloween and Xmas production every year.
  10. Bad Bob Show at SFoG. Never miss it at the park.
  11. Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the preview night at Hershey doesn't have to be the day before your visit. You could drive and do the Hershey preview hours, then Knoebels the next day, then your daily visit to Hershey. Just adding to the list of options.
  12. That thing is awesome. Can't wait to ride it again sometime and grab more rings.
  13. If I see pricing any time soon I'll try and post it here for you. I have not seen that yet.
  14. World's tallest drop tower set to open at 10am today. Wish I was there. Looks fun.
  15. Screamscape is suggesting several SF parks will have HITP cut next year. If they aren't making money on the event, cancel it or reimagine it.
  16. No complaints about my visit on Wed Dec 8. Probably helps that no one else was there. Used the $10 QQ I purchased to skip a couple 10 min lines. Rest of the time everything was a walkon, even Cobra. Cobra and Fury also ran pretty much all day without down time.
  17. Is that confirmed? I was at the event last year. I got the feeling Rodeo would be the first event with ert on it from what I heard. But, speakers weren't that great in the pavilion.
  18. I really wish they were doing this longer. OR....can someone whisper to Jeffrey this would be great for Coaster Rodeo? I hope we see these pop up more places. I'd love to give it a try. Sky Coasters are tons of fun. The new Fun Spot lay down swings were interesting enough. I'm all for it.
  19. Lockers are not required for any rides. The ride ops will often take your stuff and put it away for you while you buckle up.
  20. One of Wicked Twister's spikes is now gone.
  21. Lightning Rod started running 2 train ops again today.
  22. Also, a bit more perspective on Dollywood. We had some severe weather here. I'm talking trees down, back roads blocked because of damage, etc. They have trouble staffing the park without many of their employees blocked at home because they live in rural areas. In addition to opening later, they also warned staffing would be worse than normal and many things would be closed. And I realize it's anecdotal, but I went to HHN in Orlando this year. The day we went they were calling for severe weather and had Tornado watches in effect. Even locals were talking about how it wasn't going to be typical Florida rain on this day. It ended up raining for about 20 minutes around 5pm and that's it. Place was empty until the rain passed. Crowds were back to normal by 8 or so. I think it's fine they took a chance and opened. People can make their own decisions.
  23. I think it's a bit crazy how they flipped on reservations, especially considering it's the opposite at SDC. You can make reservations but they don't matter and you will have to wait when they hit cap even with them.
  24. Manta paint looks good but still a lot to go. Good day at the park today.
