  1. That's where they put the station building. The ride will also go through the Western and Italian areas of the park.
  2. Phantasialand doesn't update all languages on their website at once. The German version of the site already lists the entry prize for the 2006 season. At the moment it is €26,50 (£17,84) but it may still be changed.
  3. I still have some photos of Phantasialand from 1974. I could post them here.
  4. Twister (a KMG speed) Toppled while setting up for the fair in Leopoldsburg. It is not yet known what caused the accident. http://users.skynet.be/sc00pje/1.jpg http://users.skynet.be/sc00pje/2.jpg Pics are from sc00p @ ThemeparkVision
  5. Only the first generation cable lift. Goliath @ Walibi World is the only one with a second generation cable lift. On G! the cable doesn't come into the station. Like Yeah 7 said, the train is pushed out of the station by kicker wheels, it passes the cable sled and than the cable sled catches up to the train. The train doesn't stop to hook up to the cable sled. As for El Toro, cable lifts are only being used on steel coasters. Colossos and Balder don't have cable lift's either.
  6. I live about 40 minutes from Toverland so obviously I rode that one. Last time I was there I even got chased by a few weird Americans. I also rode the traditional alpine slides in Télécoo (Belgium) and Panorama Park (Germany) and the alpine coaster in Fort Fun (Germany). Here is the official website from Wiegand, the company that builds these bobkarts. The site also contains lists of all their installations.
  7. I love RH when is't wet, but when it's dry I don't really like it. My personal favorite to ride in the rain is Tonnerre de Zeus. RH doesn't even come close to that!
  8. *sigh* details, details, details.....complain...complain...complain.... --Robb "I didn't need three different people tell me I made a mistake...a PM or something would have been just fine!" Alvey Hey, I just wanted to let you know. How could I know a few other people already had send you a PM? And it wasn't meant as a complaint, I just thought you didn't know Vekoma made powered coasters. I used to think it was a Mack myself.
  9. An other great update. But Casey Jr. is not a Mack, it's a Vekoma.
  10. ^^ Phantasialand has a history of making things look like the artworks. A few details may change, but it won't be anything big.
  11. A mantis is a kind of insect, it has nothing to do with pee. I think with Balder they mean the Norse god, which makes it a great name.
  12. Eurosat! A lot of people say it's rough but I just love it. Stuntfall (Déjà Vu clone) is also a great ride.
  13. Great pics! I can't wait until tomorrow. BTW, the ferris wheel is also Vekoma.
  14. ^ I couldn't agree more!
  15. This coaster was build for a contest on an other site in which we had to build a wooden coaster for Toverland. Have fun.
  16. I made this coaster a few weeks ago for a contest on an other site. We didn't get the results yet but since I'm tired of waiting I post this anyway. We were supposed to build a new coaster for DLP and since they already have a Star Wars ride I decided to name this one after Star Trek. Have fun.
  17. ^ A lot of Egyptian gods are humans with animal heads. Sally Corp. has actually made Anubis like he is supposed to look.
  18. Phantasialand has a history of great shows. I haven't seen Arachnomé yet (I don't like shows eighter) but there previous show, L'Arctistique, was amazing! In 2001 it even got a "Big E-Award". They also used to have a magic show with 2 german magicians and several white tigers. I heared they've ended up in some desert. Bobbejaanland has a great solution for that problem. They've put "gumball trees" all over the park. Gumball trees are wooden boards with trees painted on. People are supposed to put their gum on the trees instead of on the ground. It may sound simple but it actually seems to work.
  19. Don't you mean Dropkick Murphys - The Wild Rover?
  20. Maybe you could use a song from Bobbejaan Schoepen for the Bobbejaanland video. Afterall, the park was originaly build just for Bobbejaan's show. Geert "I think Dave may have a few good suggestions " Janssen
  21. ^ No, he isn't. Schumi is from a small town near Köln. They don't wear lederhosen in that area. He also has his own indoor cart circuit nearby. I always pas it on my way to Phantasialand. Sören, thanks again for the TR's. I had a great time.
  22. ^^ Why slide if you can jump? Thanks for the update Sören. I had a great day last week.
  23. Heide Park didn't get the permit, otherwise it would have already been on the open space next to Colossos.
