I take my kids out of school all the time for coaster riding. I am well known in my lifetime for saying, "No child of mine will ever have perfect attendance." Can I also add that my daughter just celebrated her fifth year of school with straight A's, and my son is entering high school having taken honors classes all his grade school career and has never had a grade below a B. I guess what I'm saying is, I'm all for this kinda truancy.

Yeah, I got the Milhouse outfit and quests, but I have seen nothing for Homer. Hmmmmmmmmmm!

I actually questioned their motives behind putting them in beforehand. Coming from an industry that is pretty much rigging detailed. It would make more sense to attach the supports to the track on the ground, then lift it into place and attach it to the superstructure afterward rather than having to lift the track between the inverted supports and mount it upside down. It is the simpler solution to what could have been a very difficult lift.

A Madagascar themed area would make a perfect fit. Very kid friendly and tons of space to rework several of the existing rides into rethemed attractions. IMHO the Universal side could use a water ride now that Jaws is gone, so a themed log flume over in that area of the park would be awesome. Just don't know if they have the room for it over there.

I didn't get Shari, the ref bunny dude, and the Blocko store.

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

This! I totaled 11 rides on Banshee at media day, and in row 8 there was the SLIGHTEST bit of rattling, but in no way shape or form did it make the ride uncomfortable. It was more of "hmmmm I feel a tiny rattle, oh well I'm going to keep enjoying this ride now!" This. I think it's a great ride that the park really really needed. I rode it 8 times on Media Day and came to the same conclusion. My only thought being is that that is how some B&Ms feel after they have been running a few years. Not on a brand new coaster. But it's not horrible, and unless your marathoning the heck outta the ride, it won't ruin your skeletal structure like other coasters would. Cough (Son of Beast) cough! -
Just found her. She totally crapped out a little Pippi Longstocking thingy. The little 7 toothed imp is supposed to steal money or something. Now she's prego again for the next 90 days to have another one. Aparently there is a set of 3 little theiving bastards. She plays a hand made stand up bass when you tap on her. Tee Hee! She is a ugly little ginger spud. I like her.

I CAN'T FIND HER ANYWHERE? IT'S AS IF SHE'S BEEN RAPTURED! NO! NO! I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS! NO! NO! HELL FU@K NO!

I'm still loving the Idea of having them retracking one side with Topper and restoring it to it's original footprint. Before all the alterations that removed the decent amount of airtime it used to provide. Circa 1978. Call it Colossus Classic. That way it could still be considered a wood coaster. Now take the second track and put the Iron Horse treatment to it. Add 30-40 feet to the first drop, keep the triple up and double down, throw in a couple of fancy schmancy airtime hills, maybe a few overbanks, a dive loop, a 0G stall, and a couple of barrel rolls just before the brake run for good measure. Call it Colossus 2.0, or Iron Colossus, I-Coli, I-Cali, I-Carly, I-don't give a fu@k! Whatever! You still keep your coaster count, and you get two great rides. One that will draw an all new XTREME contingent to that otherwise dead area of the park, add to their ever famous inversion count, and thrill the always hungry, "I want something new" pack. On top of that, you also pacify the Colossus die hards that had the opportunity to ride it in it's heyday. (I count myself in that pack.) And trust me when I say, it was good!

Mine works fine.

Fu@K! More eggs! I only need 3 more fences and I will have completed every task. More importantly, Brandine is getting ready to pop! 5 days! Woo Hoo! Still need a few other easter things. Blocko, Lizards, Father Sean, Kodos Topiary, Kang Topiary, Shary Bobbins, and Hugs Bunny. 3ish days. The push is on.

These all look great! Viking boat is a perfect theme for these kind of rides. -
^Thanky! That leaves a bit of time. I only need 6 more fences to finish the fence quest. Want the Blocko store, and the lizzards. Still need the Faberge Egg. So much to do. So many bunnies to taze. 6 days and counting Brandine.
