^Mine seems to be working fine. Haven't quite gotten to the Homer & Marge stroll yet. I assume it's after the salacious fling Homer is about to have with the Red Haired, Motorcycle Riding Hottie. This is my first Valentines Day expansion, so I didn't have anything. But I have already cleaned out the wheel and gotten the Tunnel o' Lurb. I too think it's just deserts after how long it took me to get Claus Co. I got scared that I would never get my skyscraper. Wow! I am coming up on one full year of playing TO just after Easter. My my my! how time flies.

Yeah, the dialogue for this expansion has been quite hilarious. I too am having all the lawyer stuff to do again, plus a few extra random Homer tasks. I am just putting them off untill I have done the Valentines day stuff first. If they're short, or the character isn't in use, I will send them on the task. Like Wiggum and the Comic Book Guy.

What is up at EA? This is the second or third day in a row the server has been down for maintennce. Did someone do a hatchet job on the latest update? I hope it doesn't revert back and have us do all those blimp and Lawyer jobs again. Worse yet, I had just finished the Roses task and would hate to have to do that over again. Anyway, just venting. Server is down again.

WTF! My rose task jumped to 24 hours. And for some reason it is asking me to do the Superbowl tasks again. WTF?!

Some people actually like to have civilized discussions about the hobby they love. Sorry you disagree. It's my attitude, period. It's a pointless conversation, since there is no universally defined definition or standard for my attitude. What my attitude is referred to won't have any affect on the sensation it brings. Fixed. And yes. I agree. I have no affect from your attitude. In fact, I just want to tune it out.

^Ahhhhhhh! A mass damper. They use these in skyscrapers to counterweight the sway of the building during high winds or earthquakes, yes? I was thinking the literal use of a counterweight based on my only knowledge of them. The theater. Or as we say in Franch, "Le Theatre!" Guy "Counterweight, Mass Damper, Science! Meh!" Koepp

I always like to add in a little extra piece. Keeps me young!

I'm not an engineer or anything, but remembering simple mechanics based entirely on a theatrical flyrail system. The counterweight would be used to offset the ride vehicle weight. This causes less stress on the actual lift motors creating less wear and tear and less downtime. Someone in the know can now begin to correct my uneducated blathering in 3... ...2... ...1.
