I think it will be a ton of fun - but the transitions are just going to be smoother than they used to be. So, it looks like we finally made it to the half way point for our first global prize. As it looks now, based on the daily rate of increase, and if my timeline calculations are correct, we should be able to get 2 global prizes and be about half way into our third. I think EA undercalculated the Halloween expansion and are making us suffer for it in Christmas. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

^Me too. As awesome as the missions and competition between Homer and Barney are, I was hoping for gift cards. On a different side of things, I just started getting tasks for Milhouse that reward you in gift cards. The global total isn't even at 50% yet for the first gift. Danm it!

Is it just me, or does it feel like there is a serious lack of jobs and quests in this installment? So far, the only people that can get gift cards are Homer, Lisa, Bart, Ned & Apu. And wasn't that Apu assignment supposed to unlock some sort of gift card exchange thingy? Don't get me wrong, I love the expansion and the look of my Springfield all covered in snow. But the gift giving global tally seems outrageously high. We're 3 days in and the global total isn't even at 20% for the first group prize yet. If memory serves, we had already gotten the 1st golbal gift in the Halloween overlay. It was the last one that was the hardest to achieve. Perhaps I am jaded as Halloween is a far superior Holiday anyway.

Big time. I thought it might be the wifi in the house. But then found all other on line activities were just fine. I think the EA Server took a big healthy dump. And blacked out from it.

I've been trying to drop my gift bags right by the tree as well as in large parking lots. Also, the elves will go around and find all the presents that are hidden. So if you get an elf haus, and do that once every 24 hours, it will get the packages that you may not find. They also fart out trails of gift cards as they zoom around getting presents. I found a present floating in my ocean yesterday. So I think the game program randomly drops them all over the place as well. Kinda weird.

The Mythbusters proved you can polish a turd so that you can actually see your own reflection in it. In fact, as it turns out, Lion $h!t actually polished the best. So now all the redneck, Coors Light swilling, hilbillies will have some place else to neglect their child whilst gettin thar crunk on!
