^ Don't worry, that will pass. So will everything else in your bowels before you watched it. But very cleansing! Kind of like a video induced enema. So very glad you enjoyed it! -

Great start to a TR so far. I look forward to more! -
OMG! I just spent the last 2 hours writing reviews. When I hit submit it asked me to log in to TPR. After I did, it took me back to my post a reply window. Only the several pages of notes that I had written were gone. I will try to do this again in MS word tomorrow then paste the whole thing at one time. I never realized this page had a time out limit. Rrrrrrrrr!

Dreamland, Margate Discussion Thread
Guy T. Koepp replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I get the idea that this wouldn't be the work of a thug. As sad as it is to say. It seems more on the lines of a land owner that didn't want to have his property annexed for historical purposes. He probably thought if there was no historical attachment to it, then he could get top dollar (or pound, or euro as the case may be) for it. Torch it! Collect the insurance money. Demolish the rest. Build condos on the site. Double your money. Corporate scum! Guy "Easy, Breezy, Japaneezy!" Koepp -

Robb & Jahan Go To White Castle
Guy T. Koepp replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Robb, this video was hilarious! The only thing that could have made it any funnier, was if you had footage of people throwing up or running to the toilet a few hours later. Awesome! Guy "White Castle, it just goes through ya!" Koepp -
Guy would like to thank Big Mike for a very amusing TR. Guy was sorry he couldn't work it out to get down to see Big Mike on this wonderful day. However, Guy would have loved to know that Big Mike was credit whoring up E. Tteenneessee the day before 6FoG. Guy was free that day and only an hour and a half away. Guy would like to inquire if Rich passed out on Mindbender as he is prone to do on old Schwartzkoffs? Guy finds that fact very funny. Guy also found Goliath to be the best coaster in the park, however Guy thought it was way over trimmed after the helix of death. Guy would go so far as to say that the trims slowed the train a good 10mph. Guy believes he was raped of a sh!tload of airtime due to this fact. Guy believes 6FoG owes him a kiss and at least a reach around for the @ss raping. Guy also thought the Georgia Cyclone was an awesome ride. Guy wonders why Magic Mountains version was never that good. (Before and after the Northridge quake.) Guy would be very sad to see 6FoG tear this clone down. Guy would have loved to help Magic Mountain tear their clone down. Guy had a great time there with his family the weekend before except for one really horrible experience. Guy believes that the concessions at the park suck! Guy believes an hour and 20 minute time to get a pizza for his family is way too f^ck!ng long to wait for an 8 person line. Guy didn't think it was that busy that day. Guy believes this was easily the longest line Guy had to wait in at the whole park. Fortunately, Guy's family was able to watch the Comedy Western Stunt show (twice) while he stood in the hot sun and waited for the pizza. Guy thinks 6FoG might owe him for the extra bottle of sunscreen he used as well as the cancer screening that he will probably need due to the lack of shade in that whole area. Guy thinks 6FoG needs to get their food service operations sh!t together before the summer rush hits. Guy is still very sore about his food experience at the park Again, Guy thanks Big Mike for his awesome TR and looks forward to riding with him. Peace!

Let's Learn about the Matterhorn!
Guy T. Koepp replied to Alpenguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is one of the greatest threads ever. I have such fond memmories of the Matterhorn as it was my very first "big boy" rollercoaster. I still love it! My kids love it! It is timeless. I noticed Jahan hasn't posted here yet. He probably got two sentences into the first post and had a coronary. Can someone go to his house to see if he's still alive. -
I heard this park had a two tiered admission plan. One would be to go through the proper channels and purchase a ticket. And yes, the tickets would be green. The other would be to sneak in. In a Disney first, Bob Iger announced that there would only be a fence around a portion of the park. The other barriers would consist of a crossable river as well as a large arroyo with old mattresses strewn about to provide cover. With the second plan, you could ride and be entertained as long as you weren't caught. However, if you were. They would put you on a funny little golf cart buss and escort you back to the main gate. At which point you had the option of purchasing a ticket via the proper channels or sneak back in. I'm also told they have a group discount for 15 or more, but for some reason they are calling it a "family discount." Guy "This was a cute April Fools joke."Koepp

I refrain from making any judgement as I have not been to CP. I will get there this year. However, I do agree with the world class woodie comment. Colosus used to be great. It's still fun, but not great. Magic Mountain needs a really good fun wooden coaster. I would love to see a nice family GCI woodie up near the Rapids Camp area. Having just ridden Kentucky Rumbler this Christmas Eve, and it easily jumping into my top 4 wood. I believe it would make an excellent addition to the park. Then a few years down the road after they probably slap in a Big Spin and Dark Knight clone, I would love to see it get an El Toro west! If there is a God! Please let Magic Mountain get an El Toro west!

The adventure of Lil' Robby Robb
Guy T. Koepp replied to FLIPDUDE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow Tomi! You have been busy since the last time I checked in on this thred. Great stuff! You realy capture the first time riding a great coaster experience in cartoon form. Loved the bug in your eye gag. Reminds me of the first time I rode SRoS at 6FNE. I will be riding the Voyage for the first time in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to it! Again great work! Keep it up. -
I realy want to do this! It sounds like a great trip. I think I am going to make a little 5 day, 39 credit road trip out of this. 2nd- Drive from Nashville to Darien Lake 3rd- Darien lake, then drive to Canada's Wonderland at night. 4th- Behemoth Bash! Then drive to Cedar Point late night. 5th- Cedar Point! 6th- Drive back to Nashville. Of course this is all subject to work. Who's in!

Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread
Guy T. Koepp replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hopefully it won't be trimmed like Goliath at 6FoG. That thing after the helix was cranked up to stun last Saturday. It totaly killed all the airtime on the return back to the station. If you took the time to watch it outside the gates, you could visibly see the train slowing down about 10+MPH. Guy"I hate trims & MCBRs." Koepp -
1. What do you find most useful about the front page? It keeps me updated as to everything that is new and exciting at TPR. 2. What do you find least useful about the front page? 3. Is anything on the front page confusing? No. 4. How far do you scroll down the front page looking for updates? Not too far. 5. How often do you look at the front page? Every time I come to the site. 6. How often do you click on the "whatsnew" link? There's a whatsnew link? 7. What would you like to see added to the front page to make your visits to TPR better? Strippers! 8. Anything else you would like to mention? Like any thing else you would like to see us add/change/leave alone/etc? I think I have mentioned this several times to you before. The reason I love this site is because of it's simplicity and ease of navigation. It's not cluttered or has too much going on on the home page. That makes it very inviting to a simpleton like myself. Did I mention strippers though? You can never go wrong with strippers. Oh! Crushed Velvet! It feels great as underwear. Imagine what it would do for a website? So yeah, strippers and crushed velvet. Oh! and lava lamps! They make me horny. Nothin' sells sex like strippers, crushed velvet and lava lamps. I'd buy twice as many sex toys from you all if you could find a way to fit those things into your home page.

West Coast Bash 2008 Video

Great video Eric! It captured the whole day very well. I think that was a tear welling up in Robb's eye as he gave that speech.
