  1. I miss-read. But still, they may have planned to have the Joker in a third movie, but that was before Heath Ledger's death. I'm not sure if they could replace the Joker. Much like replacing Batman would hinder the trilogy.
  2. I think you can PM the people that want to know what you think. I know you don't want to post spoilers so just PM us. I didn't catch on to anything the Joker said in the final fight that would suggest Two-Face coming back.
  3. $4.26 in Anaheim. It's slowly approaching $4.
  4. How? I didn't see any hints.
  5. Not always. I forget which attraction in DCA but the red and green buttons are opposite of what you would assume. Green is bad. I think it was Grizzly. Why is it that in America, a generally fat country, fat is seen as disgusting? Sort of dumb...you would think we would all be fit if society saw fat as disgusting.
  6. I feel that if Two-Face returns he will be a sub-villain just like in Dark Knight. The way they develop his character in the movie makes him more of a corrupted villain and it seems that he would not be menacing enough to fight Batman. His entire character is based upon a city in havoc. He doesn't have the capability to dominate Gotham like the Joker did. I don't think he's coming back personally, I think people are having a hard time seeing Two-Face as a smaller villain than the character in the comics. I'm not sure it was Nolan's intention to have Dent as a villain, just a figure corrupted under the Joker's reign. Just my two cents.
  7. Haha, agreed. I have a white 1995 Honda Accord at about 208,000 miles! Still runs great. The past owner was an auto mechanic and was always working on the engine and transmission. Though I need to take it in for a transmission rebuild. Other than that it's great. I get about 28 mpg and am mostly on the freeway. Decent for such an old car.
  8. I'm sure you damaged them because of the high speeds at launch. Fahrenheit will not put the trains under as much pressure and therefore custom trains are pointless. Focus on what really matter before you plan the aesthetics.
  9. Here's my work desktop. It took me so long to figure out how to stretch the image across both screens.
  10. I saw it again and it still blew me away. It was even better since now I could pick up on subtle clues leading into big events in the story. I saw it in a regular theater, no IMAX and felt that the quality didn't take much away from the experience. BTW, I can't sleep. It's hot.
  11. I saw it on IMAX at the Anaheim GardenWalk. It's the first movie to open the new theater and it sure was a hassle to see the movie. They cut the trailers to get straight to the movie and everyone was pissed. Anyways, the movie was amazing. Nothing more or less than that.
  12. I just watched some at work...looks amazing! I can't wait!
  13. There is actually a large petition for the new Terminator. Apparently the ending has been released unintentionally and it is not under the approval of the fans. It's not sure if this is the official ending or a rumor...but the ending is sort of shocking. I can post it if you want...
  14. Um, do you want to explain your post before people think you are sleazy? It just doesn't sound right. I sure would ride a coaster naked, why not.
  15. I went to a signing yesterday in Hollywood for the film score. Both composers were there and it really hyped me up for the movie tonight. I've been listening to the music and it's decent, seems to be a rehash of the first film but I'm sure it will go great with the movie.
  16. I've seen a few, especially at Blockbuster........... I just don't care to spend the money on this or Rockband.....................
  17. I want to hear about DLC for the Wii......... Was there any news on Rockband 2? I may wait for that, it looks to be coming out in November...................Yea..................
  18. How old are you? I'm not trying to judge but I would like to know what makes you so sure it will work. Have you done this before, had experience, know someone with experience? Education maybe?
  19. A failure. Why do beans make you fart?
  20. I tried doing it once or twice a week...yea that stopped after a few times. I usually take a walk to New York Street and back.
  21. Many people don't understand that California Screamin is one coaster. Many seem to think the launch is separate from the rest. And many feel it is way too big to be one coaster so one end must be separate of the other end (Such that the Malliboomer section, launch, and loop section are three different coasters). It also doesn't help that we have dual loading stations!
  22. Would the entire layout of Ninja at SFMM count? I mean, it is pre-lift...the second one that is!
  23. 0.5" is not going to cut it. That is sheet metal compared to a coaster. Most ties vary from 1-3" thick. The profile of the ties are flimsy too...you can't have them narrow down so much or else they would snap.
  24. How are you planning on building the cars? I've seen many people attempt to create their own SS cars and most don't get finished. I think you should worry about the track and supports before deciding to make custom trains and scenery.
  25. I know that Inventor isn't an animation program, I'm saying you are using it as if it were one, because I don't see much engineering savvy in your designs. I can start with the wheels and axles. I understand if you just made some mock wheels to show off the assembly, but coaster wheels are a much more complicated assembly than a block of metal with an outer coaster of urethane. The axle should be pinned in place to ensure it does not rotate. As the train traverses the track the wheels will spin very fast. With the tight tolerances between the axle and wheel assembly the axle will begin to rotate...and with the weight of the train the axles will wear at the points of contact with the frame. Also, the bolt through the axle is going to wear on the frame and greatly weakens the axle at that point. Now I assume the wheel assembly pictured is a side-running wheel and/or upstop wheels. If so they will not run the length of the track as well as an independent spring loaded system for each wheel. Your current system does not seem to take in consideration forces perpendicular to the spring axle (See the first picture). The wheels won't always have the same forces pushing on them at the same time. As the train approaches a turn, one wheel will push in/out before the other. With the assembly only able to compress along the spring axles, one wheel will lift off the track as well as one axle will take a lot of force perpendicular to it's axis. This is assuming that the axles are fixed at their current angle. You can fix this by allowing the spring axles to rotate at the wheels, but then the alignment of the wheels could potentially be a large tolerance of a few inches. I don't see any way of keeping your current system. As far as the track, the ties should be one piece and they are very flimsy and there are too many. I guess you would need that many to compensate for how flimsy the ties are. I don't know, I just don't see anything great about this project yet. It seems to me that you are designing from an enthusiast's point of view and not an engineering point of view. That's not going to work.
